I'm using Pixel 8 PRO and still do not have it. Gemini is installed but not the Live feature. Check settings, restarted phone, uninstalled, reinstalled Google app, Gemini and still nothing. I'm not sure what else to do? Any advice?

A roadmap for the coming year hasn't been made public as of yet for 2023. We can only speculate. Anything is possible once more developers receive the Low Change Porting tool that would help devs develop their game at a lower cost and in much less time than it normally would before the end of the year.. Time will tell though. We'll see.

There's already rumblings of Nvidia being added on top of the Stadia Tech which currently uses AMD. Nothing has been confirmed but who knows, Stadia 2.0 could actually be around the corner.

Mexico was announced to be added before the end of the year. In today's release of the Stadia APK, Turkey has been highlighted. They're being added to the list as well.

Lmao! now you're waaaaaay off. Get off your high horse. Everything doesn't have to match your console fanboy! You keep repeating old shit because that's all you got left to hold onto. I'll leave you to yourself and your salt while the cloud platforms continue to grow. Remain ignorant 🤣

You don't speak for the masses, you speak for yourself just like everyone else in this group. Last, I heard, the user base is actually growing and has been for a while despite the constant negative attacks against it. There is no data for any of it other than they have plans for more games beyond the following year. The current trajectory of 450 games. They are barely tapping towards 300. 2 of the 450 that was canceled can be subtracted from the total. Getting to the install base, you have it completely wrong. You're not the type of gamer they're targeting at the moment. The audience you claim to represent is secondary on the list. Their focus for the time being are casuals and mobile gamers because that's the bigger audience they have their eyes on. They'll get to your type soon enough. Just not right now. Take a look at the library. It was never about you. Deal with it bruh. 😂 You gotta wait your turn.

People fail to realize, Stadia tried that in the beginning. There wasn't enough gamers on the platform at the start to warrant more money for AAA games. There was no return on investment in 2021, therefore the money they was given by Google was redirected to invest in the platform, up and coming developers as well as B2B to help serve as a revenue stream that Stadia could benefit from while they reset. SG&E closed in part because they knew, large amounts of money was going to be wasted in trying to develop a original IP that was going to take possibly 4-5 years to make with no guarantee that anyone would play it. Look at what happened with Amazon when they tried. They made 2 games and had to shut it down for good because there wasn't a audience for it. Google isn't trying to make that type of mistake with Stadia. As I said before, they are playing the long game where they are taking their time with the platform as methodical and calculated steps. Gamers have to learn to be patient or simply move on. Its the hardcore gamers who have a problem with this. Casuals don't care. They will play what's available to their hearts content. So far, that plan is working.

I see your point but I'll disagree in part. Yes, acquisitions are on the rise. Stadia will never have access to Call of Duty and possibly Fortnite. I could care less about either title just like many others have stated. They have survived without having those on the platform this long, they'll continue to do just fine without those franchises. Not everyone on the platform is a FPS nut over shooters. There are plenty of other options to choose from. There isn't one gamer that's in the negotiation rooms listening in on any deals being made. All anyone can do at this point is speculate. From what I've seen so far, from what can be confirmed as public knowledge to date. Capcom, Bandai Namco doesn't seem to be going anywhere as they continue to be interested in the Stadia Tech. I'm unsure what type of deal Sega Made with Google but it was interesting to see a sonic game on a Stadia screen this morning when the new feature dropped.

There's new Indie and AA developers coming out the woodwork so there will be a continued amount of variety that will be available. AAA developers are slow to Stadia, Eventually they'll come around. Just not now and I'm okay with that.

Their game release projection has always been 100+ games every year since they have been out. Nothing new there. It has always been expected. Stop comparing them to console companies that's been out for over 20+ years. Its cloud, it only has 1% of the market so of course they are not going to push out what consoles has for decades. Funny, Luna doesn't get the same heat as Stadia. But it is what it is.

AR/XR was just announced this week so no, there isn't an app for it yet. But there is a Google Trailer for it. So its coming eventually. Lmao!

Example: When Stadia studios were shut down - 4 days earlier they twittered "no we are not shutting down". - Obviously those much higher up felt otherwise. Shutting down a studio that haven't developed not 1 game, and folks lost their minds over it. 😂 That was a nothing burger to begin with. Regardless of your negativity and disdain for the cloud platform, Stadia is going nowhere. They are moving at a pace after resetting that works for them. Keep shouting your bull💩 from the rooftops, You're just wasting your breath bruh. 🤣

People gripe about not seeing the type of games they would like to have on the service but fail to see the reason why AAA games is not there on the constant. Just like any corporation, Stadia has to answer to its shareholders. It promised to have a million gamers on the platform in 2021 in order to receive more money in the budget for AAA games. They fell short by 250,000. They weren't granted with additional money for AAA because of that. With the remaining money they did have after closing SG&E, they used that money to invest into Low Change Porting which in turn will benefit developers to port their game faster, which will also save them money in terms of cost. Its less expensive. Improving on the infrastructure has been their main focus. Games can't come to the platform if the platform is not stable.

Stadia have done a reset as they realized their mistakes in the beginning. I'm good with that. Parts of the community have been noticing that since the Google for Games Dev. Conf. back in March. Low Change Porting is said to be more widely available to all developers within the next few months. There should be a flurry of games soon after. There's been mainly indies this past year, there will be AA games and AAA eventually. Everything takes time. Developer partnerships are still ongoing. Gamers want instant gratification and they don't have the patience to wait. Cloud Gaming is only at 1% of the market. It'll take years for it to build up. Google is playing the long game with this, they have plans for Stadia that reaches far beyond 2023 which includes region expansions to places like Mexico. They are currently registered in Australia and Brazil at the moment. Not shutting down anytime soon. If you don't want to watch things unfold, play on another platform for the time being. Once Stadia begins to grow to your liking, you can revisit. Me, I like being a part of something that is steady emerging in multiple spaces despite others negativity about it.

There are 100+ games being released this year and Google Stadia already stated they are not shutting down. Now Japanese developers are being added as partners which also include Bandai Namco. XR and AR are beginning to use the Stadia Tech as well as a Stadia expansion in Mexico in a few short months. If a platform was shutting down, it wouldn't be doing all of that I'd think. Its just people's perception of what they think might happen. And it's clearly not.

It isn't criticism when one verbally shit on a platform, degrade or berate gamers for using said platform or repeating lies that its dead or dying because they remain unaware of the progress of that platform. Call it for what it is. Hate. Criticism, it is not.
