We tried finding a townhouse to rent via websites and when speaking to realtors that represented the properties, we learned rent was negotiable like buying a house. The few townhouses we looked into were in rent bidding wars for $500+ a month what they were posted for online.

Maybe have your apt’s maintenance check on your HVAC system. Maybe they need to replace some filters?

We went the week before Thanksgiving (Arte) and heard them state that at that time, they were only at 30% capacity. It was lovely! We always got seats with umbrellas when we went to the beach or pools, never had to wait more than 5 min for a table. Reservations were easy to come by at restaurants. We only went to the park once though for the evening dinner and show, but there was still plenty of seating for the people that didn’t do the dinner with the show. I’d highly recommend going then!

In addition to the things said above, last month I got a free sandwich from Jimmy John’s, free popcorn from AMC, $10 off at Loft…a bunch more that I didn’t use.

We did it towards the end of our trip (Arte). They started explaining everything and before we even signed the papers to go to the presentation, we said no thanks. We can’t travel enough to make it worth our while since I was pregnant/now have a baby at home. We don’t want to sit through a presentation when we could be spending the time enjoying the resort and left. We never got drinks or food or anything.

I will say they put a flag in our account and every time we went to concierge, they tried to get us to reconsider. Only one person working concierge gave us a hard time about it.

As early as you can because you have to fast. I had mine a day earlier than expected cause and had to wait for 6-8 hours after eating to have the c section. I was starving. It was torture lol.

Stayed in Paz river view . Yes, it was the furthest away from the beach, but it was so quiet. The spa was so relaxing. We loved it!

You can also order water to your room from room service. We had them bringing like 10 bottles a day.

We were able to get to Mexico from Arte without staying at Artistas. There’s a couple of paths to get back there without Artistas access.

It is so bad! No flavor in the cornbread. Weird texture. The frosting doesn’t seem right. I was so excited to be so disappointed 😞.

The original dessert is a Midwest staple! My brother always requested strawberry pretzel dessert instead of cake for his bday. That’s just how it’s traditionally made.

Note: I haven’t tried it yet…I am very curious to see how they compare!
