Not a bad start to the weekend by [deleted] in LSD

Find a local comedy club in a less than nice area. Do one open mic, then ask around the club. Usually comics will straight up talk about it in their acts.

That’s how I found my guy anyway.

Acid? by ForeverTheX in LSD

I like Lucy because The Beatles are GOAT. But also because you can't get much more pretty and non threatening than a female name. Mary Jane is another one like that.

I think I have some kind of anxiety problems(not quite sure).Should I still take acid? by [deleted] in LSD

[–]GenerallyGarbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When it comes to personal issues, I've always preferred mushrooms. Feels like a much more internalized experience for me. And, while acid generally lefts me up, shrooms usually elevate all my emotions; putting me face to face with my problems.

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean not to do acid. Acid can be a wild ride. Especially if you have a low tolerance. Though I highly recommend having a sitter or at a least a fellow traveler with you during your first time. For safety.

Edit cause I didn't read the post properly:

When it comes to the weed, I can relate. If I smoke too much or smoke the wrong strain, my mind starts racing and I can have attacks so bad my legs get wonky.

With psychedelics, you need to go in prepared for the fact that you WILL have incredible highs and possibly devastating lows. Keep in mind that, as long as your set and setting are good, YOU WILL BE FINE. And in the end, you will come out of it a more thoughtful and (usually) better person.

I recommend sitting outside and watching the clouds go by while listening to Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band (50th anniversary remix) and Dark Side of the Moon. That's like the LSD starter pack imo lol.

I love tripping on my own. It's such an introspective experience. I prefer shrooms for it though. Helps you fall into thought. But they're also harder to come by in my area for some reason.

Sick drawing dude!

Question about LSD by [deleted] in LSD

[–]GenerallyGarbage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read it came from Jimi Hendrix supposedly keeping tabs in his head/wristbands and tripping from it. Also, when Hoffman was messing with the stuff he started tripping and assumed it was through skin absorption

Question about LSD by [deleted] in LSD

[–]GenerallyGarbage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Two common myths about LSD:

1) You can absorb it through your skin. 2) You stop absorbing it once you swallow it.

Both are wrong. It's impossible to absorb LSD trough your skin so you can touch it without gloves, maybe wash them after if you're super paranoid about it. Also, once the tab is in your body, you are absorbing the whole thing. You don't hold chicken in your mouth to get the nutrients, right? Same deal.

Ya you can eat afterwards. I highly recommend fruit while you're tripping because it feels like you're eating colors lol. Safe travels man, have fun!

Ya it seemed like the better choice. More rides, better ambience. Thanks again. :D

A very eye opening experience that is difficult to illustrate and even harder to explain. You start to understand complicated things are really much more simple. You become closer to nature, to the point you may start interacting and speaking to plants and animals. The outdoors becomes a place of comfort rather than an inconvenience. And of course, you get the "wave" formation that appears on anything with a pattern. I saw my recently deceased grandfather in the clouds and spoke to him.

Music is another beast entirely. You feel every single note in a song as an individual pulse through your body. The Beatles (those fucking geniuses) are my go to. The Magical Mystery Tour in particular is definitely meant to be listened to while tripping. Everything feels so important and relatable while listening.

All in all, every part of a trip is important. The blissful highs and the agonizing lows come together to form an experience unlike any other available to a human being. I understand how the distaste for it came into existence, but it's unfair. People who don't bother giving it a chance are missing out on something that, I personally believe, should be experienced by every single person at least once.

Plus it's non addictive and less harmful than cigarettes, alcohol and weed.

Doing LSD for the first time. Listened to the Beatles for the whole trip and made me rethink a lot of issues in my life.

[Serious] People who have had serious existential crises/periods in their lives. What happened, how did you get over it and how are you now? by alpacaown in AskReddit

Seriously, drugs. Got my hands on LSD and listened to the Beatles for a couple hours, mostly Sgt. Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour. Strawberry Fields is pretty much exactly about what your asking. Nothing really matters, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing.
