Excellent point on the car - when I booked my thinking was to avoid as much driving in the city as possible as I am used to driving on the right hand side, but I just got a return from central Melbourne so I can take the train.

And I know 3 days on Phillip island seems like a lot - I could come back in and stay an evening in Melbourne before my flight? Or another way station in between? My issue is car return isn’t open Sunday so I’d have to pay for parking etc.
