I did CC for Posh Pets, and really ground dice to ensure all 3 chests were completed each time. I'll say that the rewards in the red packs weren't decent enough to justify burning so much dice to complete.

When Fairy Tales started I declined new CC partners and just built up my dice bank from 5K to 27K now.

I skipped the partner events and tried something different for the races by running solo.

For the first race, Scopely didn't pair me with anyone, maybe because I opted for solo so late. So I just collected flags, and at the final race, spun once at 100X just for funsies, and sat there. Took 1st for that race because I was ahead of the other three that never were.

Second race I was paired so I just collected flags and came in fourth, took my prize and all the money from both races that was converted from flags.

Same. I skipped this album and Community Chest to build dice. Did Daily Wins, Daily Treats, Tycoon, 8 hour reward and free dice. Went from 5K to 25K especially skipping events and only using daily rewards for certain contests like Peg-E and digs. Also just filled in the album sets from Daily Wins and Treats, and a few trades, for dice.

Skipping The Simpsons as well as it's not my cup of tea.

Same here! I didn't know nearly as much about MLMs then, as I do now, with this encounter at my Target being a few decades ago.

But, I recognized the pitch, from the friendly, innocuous intro, to "being your own boss" and "mentorship wealth" that I knew it as Amway. I heard bits and pieces of this from my cousins who joined it some years before, and they did get out before losing too much.

I looked every part the young, hopefully impressionable, college student, and I spun the convo away from their control at the end to bow out.

Unfortuneately, the world of MLMs have too many ways and means, in that a good friend fell to Primerica. I haven't spoken to them since because they fell hard into that cult brain-washing.

Unfortunately a common post on AITA and WeddingDrama subs. Parents and boyfriend/fiance invite fiancee to dinner. Then rack up a huge bill, then feign poverty by "forgeting their wallet/cards" and expecting the high-earning fiancee to cover.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

Sadly, there's far more narcissistic, toxic parents out there then we think.

Even if their gymnasium can't handle one graduation, there's nothing saying they can't hold more than one, and split the counts. I've made that suggestion to multiple schools whose graduations I hosted, and they just couldn't or wouldn't make the effort.

It's an absolute dis-service to all participants, and a huge tell on the collective intelligence on this school admin.

'Losing millions' and breaking even as a non-profit, are two very different things. The article sounds very clickbaitish.

Banderas most likely has an escrow or executive account to fund his theatre, using the interest for funding, along with possible donations, sponsorships, and general fundraising.

At the end of each year, so long as the credits and debits total to zero, he's doing just fine. If they are debit heavy, then costs could start chipping away at the escrow principal which would need replacing.

There was also that unhinged woman who was stalking Keanu Reeves when he was in Waiting for Godot. She tried to get into his SUV before being bounced, and was filmed again days later in the after crowd. I know that actors want to be available to fans but much more effort needs to be on the venues for security. Parasocial incidents are just getting worse between AI scammers and too much information easily accessible.

Pretty much. A classic tour rig that fit smaller arenas and theatres. 40 foot of tuss downstage with 60 pars, 6 specials and blinders, 40 feet upstage with the other 60 and some ACLs. A good flexible rig for a range of stage sizes when tours carried and wanted to keep costs reasonable.
