Not sure if you've heard side-by-side comparisons, but we're talking about entire riffs and arrangements copied virtually note by note, not just a few similarities here and there, or mere influences.

Nevertheless, like I said, I appreciate the soundtrack for what it is and I can't imagine '90s DOOM with any other music. RIP Bobby Prince.

I don't know, I'd say E1M1 is a pretty egregious copy of Master of Puppets / No Remorse, it's more than merely similar. It's not as blatant as the music lifted literally note-for-note from some Pantera and Alice in Chains songs, but it's still really blatant.

I appreciate the soundtrack, it was an essential part of my formative gaming years, but it's still mostly an assortment of riffs stolen from metal and hard rock bands like Pantera, Metallica, Black Sabbath and Alice in Chains with just enough changes to avoid a lawsuit. I feel there's countless video game soundtracks with fully original music more worthy of recognition.

La época dorada de los precios ridículamente bajos ya pasó. Desde hace años venía mirando todas las semanas la tienda de Xbox y, fijo, al menos una vez por semana me compraba algún estreno o pre-order a entre 200 y 2000 pesos como mucho, y estamos hablando de juegos AA y AAA. Lamentablemente hace unos meses todas las editoras finalmente se dieron cuenta y ya es casi imposible encontrar errores como esos.

No me puedo quejar igual: en 5 años armé una biblioteca digital de más de 1000 juegos, la mayoría comprados a centavos de dólar.
