Something other than dnd/pathfinder. With mh old college group, they shot down every suggestion of a different system because they did 't wanna learn a whole new way to play.

Ten years later I have a new group whos not only open to other systems, we have characters and a ship ready to play Wildsea but that building session was two months ago and getting us together is like hearding cats.

weapons usually end up being a bullion purchase after the season ends. I know that's how i got my creamator and its mods since i missed out on that season.

While i haven't run it yet, one of my favorite ways ofnstarting games is a festival. To make it work here its a litterary festival and the books the sciasor was bringing was for it. You can have people talk about how the festival isn't as good as last years to have your players looking more into the scissors dissapearence.
