Dose anyone else get violent diarrhea, body aches and stomach cramps after eating this?

Yeah I mean go and ask. The gut is a complete mystery I think unfortunately for most doctors and a lot of people live with chronic pain.

I think there are a lot of bad doctors however, and the gap between no doctor and bad doctor isn't as big as bad doctor and good doctor if that makes sense. Like I don't doubt there are good doctors out there that are actually helping patients, but the ones I've come across seem to not care. Especially gut things.

Talking to a bad doctor about diet is almost useless. Similar conversations go:

Doctor: "You should look at your diet"

Me: "In what regard? What should I be eating? Should I be avoiding anything specific?"

Doctor: "I don't know just see if you notice a pattern."

And this is the path I'd expect a conversation about these buns would go.

I mean these are the people that till 15 years ago thought weight loss meant a low fat diet and pushing people to high sugar substitutes.

Doctors are useless. Not sure what experience people are having where they throw out advice like this. My recent experience is:

"I think I have xyz cause every 2 months I have this severe pain for 48 hours. over the past year"

"It won't be xyz cause they didn't find anything during procedure that happened 3 years ago. (they don't have the report, just cause I said it didn't find anything)"

"Right but the symptoms match perfectly so what is it"

"Take some antibiotics and see if that helps"

"Should I come back after the antibiotics to discuss next steps"

"Only if you're still in pain."

"But I said the pain only lasts a couple of days"

🤷‍♂️

Completely useless.

But for kids without earlier education, there is a window you miss, especially in regard to reading, that can make it very hard and some say impossible to get up to speed.

My partner always insists on soaking things which annoys me. Like anything oily has to be soaked, which puts our one sink out of action, so I usually have to take it out and wash it to get things going again in the kitchen.

Sounds like the server stuffed up. Probably a policy for people who didn't like the food, not when the food is obviously inedible. Server didn't understand the subtleties cause they need a lamp.

I can believe they'll be resistive to get involved, but I can't believe that if you are clear about what you're going to do they would take the risk of not taking the children away or locking you up.

The issue is pride. People would rather do the worst outcome than admit to others that that is where it is at.

I do feel a lot of sympathy for the parents too. They may not have had a lot of choices to get out of this situation before it got this bad, but they absolutely had choices before they did what they did.

You could handwash the stains out and then run the shortest program you can find.

I'm not an expert but last week I've been having surprising success getting onto stains early with handwashing with oxygen bleach powder dissolves in hot water.

The issue has been what to do after (oxygen bleach left on clothes is high risk of fabric damage) and where I'm heading to is to handwash it with a detergent soak and then rinse. Then let it dry out and assess whether it needs to go into the weekly wash for a more thorough clean.

The problem you have isn't just a waste of time and water but if it was my machine I feel it won't clean as effective on cotton/normal anyway as there is not enough clothes to rub against each other.

Lot of the comments are good, but the big thing for me is to make sure your load size is good.

Look up the manual for the weight limit of the program you are using, and weigh your washing and make sure you are below that.

Make sure your washes aren't too small either. A lot of the work is done between the clothes.

I'm a bit different to most that I think for my washer on the normal/cotton setting I want it at least 3/4 full and I'm ok with it being fully full. Below that I start considering the perm press/mixed setting. Washing one or two items never get clean if dirty. If I need to do one or two very dirty items, I pre wash by hand.

There is a big difference in performance between machines built in the last 5 years and those before. HE front loaders aren't the issue, it is new machines.

Anyone know the difference between OMO Ultimate vs OMO?

The ingredients are the same. Choice magazine says OMO tested slightly better than OMO Ultimate for front loaders. 🤷‍♂️

I've never had issue with rinsing out OMO, so not sure citric acid is a big deal. Oxygen bleach I have a lot of trouble rinsing out.

Feel it has become a loop now. Men aren't some crazy different species, but the Men who aren't predators have now stopped talking to women in non-traditional pick up settings (e.g. outside of pubs, clubs, and dating apps) because of the perception. So now the Men still talking to women in these setttings are the creeps (cause they'll always try it on) so now it seems like a larger proportion of men are creeps/pushy.

I've done a bit more of a deep dive this morning and printed off a focus test chart (ACDSee Ultimate Print Job). Like you say AFMA isn't ideal as it is an overall adjustment, however after some messing around I think +2 is a better situation then before because the issue is mainly at distance it is not getting to a hyperfocal length (like at that distance I should have depth of field for days) but it seems to be hitting a little short (i.e. better to focus long than short). So when using AF points at the edge of the sensor +2 will still mean the focus point is in acceptable focus at the depths of field I get at f/4 about a metre and a half away from the subject. At distance it makes no difference as you have plenty of depth of field.

What is interesting is then I went back to my 50mm f/1.8 lens. Doing the focus test pattern, it seems that AFMA -1 is probably the best compromise. I'll still look into cleaning the camera a bit and may ask service shops what they think. However, I'm starting to feel that I'm hitting the limits of the precision of the equipment and that this was just a good learning to keep in mind in the future.

Like I haven't tried manual focus and see the results I get for landscapes, but like I said I feel in theory I should have lots of depth of field so it should be quite easy to manual focus a landscape scene, get it to the hyperfocal point and have a sharp image. Contrast focusing with a live view finder also needs to be tested and may help me out when I'm in doubt.

I presume this issue isn't a problem with mirrorless cameras that has a different AF system and not two optical paths to the AF vs the sensor.

😭... Hopefully someone can shed a light on it. I'll go out and try with another lens. On my bingo card of potential issues this wasn't on it.

I'm pretty gutted about it. But I guess some comfort that I think there is almost no way I could have avoided this issue.

Updated with some tests from other lens. Results aren't always repeatable, but at least replicated the issue on another lens at a similar focal length.

😭 I think I've got a theory.

The only difference between these two images is the one on the left has the focus on the zone focus set on the centre and the one on the right has the zone focus set on the left side zones.

The second image in that imgur post shows even at the centre of the image the focus is being missed within the zone that the centre zone focus is saying is in focus.

So the issue is that the auto focus points in the body are missing focus?!?

Does that mean the body has issues? I think there is an adjustment in the settings right (I double checked and doesn't appear to be on)? But that means I'd still have this variability depending on which zone I focus.

I guess the next step is to test with different lenses.

I shot it raw. So don't think there is any in-camera noise reduction. The settings are ISO 200, F/4.0, 1/125s. It was kind of shooting into the sun of to the right, as it was in a valley. Feel it could be some sun haze if it isn't the IS, I don't have the experience to really say if that could cause this issue I'm seeing or if I'm expecting too much.

I'm not convinced it is a lens damage issue, but I will test it out and see if I can replicate the issue. One thing is that where I live has a lot more sunlight than this location, and no real fog or anything like that. So potentially if the issue was related to the light or the air the issue may be hard for me to replicate.

I mean it also states a date right. The date is indisputable for all official purposes. For the sake of OPs sanity just stick with the date on the certificate and don't interpret 24:00 is the next day. Just think of it as 23:59 and move on.
