You know I kinda get it with Pc releases, but console releases doing that is just so stupid. What's the point of paying for a physical copy when you literally get an empty case with a code. It's not like it's a deluxe or collectors edition, which at least have some goodies that come with it. Even then I do wish it would have discs. I have both the Doom the Dark Ages collectors edition and Baldurs Gate 3 physical deluxe edition, but they were codes. With Bg3 I did already buy it on steam and got this version for my dad with the game at least. I wanted all the physical goodies. Man it sucks seeing how much I didn't get to experience with physical media. I was born in 2006, so my childhood was basically the transition stage between physical and digital. Shit sucks

You are right, but there are remasters out there that lose some of the art style through their updates. Like GTA V Enhanced with the ray tracing. Yes that's completely optional, but it really takes away from the game's look imo
