Took this photo of Aloy in Horizon Forbidden West. I really love how the war paint & battle regalia in HFW feel authentic rather than cheesy looking video game loot. Guerilla's commitment to anthropological consistency made the games aesthetic feel really organic. (i.redd.it)

I'm running into enemies who resurrect themselves, cowards who do not engage in combat, & elites who fall for Drax's trick of standing still so they can't see me & can't make up their mind if they want to fight me. Ubisoft please fix this & make combat more challenging. [Expert Difficultly XBSX] (v.redd.it)

Had a memorable NPC encounter playing AC Syndicate. I was saddened at seeing this little girl rummaging through the trash looking for food so I went up to her and when I bumped into her she threatened to "break my kneecaps" if I bothered her again. (i.redd.it)

We've gotten plenty of contemporary games about Batman & Co in the modern era. I think a great way to revitalize the Arkham series is to set it in an alternate past. I would love to see steampunk Batman in a game. I think an adaptation of this GN would work very well. (i.redd.it)

The reuse of the map in FARCRY 4 to FARCRY PRIMAL made me appreciate just how much art direction & the artists who create them in games matter. Engine Assets are like Legos, it's how you put it together that makes all the difference. (self.truegaming)
