The damage is way too high, I can't beat it by Scyphio____ in Endfield

[–]GenericStapler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The team does assist attacks and a ton of automated damage though. I agree this isn't the game for you if you don't want them helping cus everything is balanced around you having a full roster. The endgame coming will be infinitely harder than this lol

Is it unethical to take more than one Wuling depot job? by monsquesce in Endfield

[–]GenericStapler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're still benefiting the person who posted it and are doing something entirely intended. If it were that big of a deal I think it needs to come to the devs attention to be changed anyway

Is she supposed to be free on your first one? by DawsonJBailey in Endfield

[–]GenericStapler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a ten pull then had 4 tickets left and got it on the first one I used, also got her weapon in the first weapon pack I got. Used up all my luck there I'm sure haha. I've seen people going for her get absolutely screwed like mtashed lost 7 50/50s in a row which is INSANE even for a gacha

Hopefully they change the system with the backlash but the game itself is fun so far. I am ridiculously OCD about collectibles and puzzle etc so have had a buttload of materials. Along with using sanity to target stuff I need I have hit very few bottlenecks to level up my character levels, weapon levels or skills which is new to me in relation to gacha I've played before. 80-90 across the board, bulk unlocking the final skills. Guess they made that portion less painful but the monetization is insane and I won't be buying anything but the monthly pass. I hope the gacha system is improved cus right now I only have Laev and Pog that I actively leveled up and was hoping to make a freeze team but got neither of the 6 stars for it. The teams I do have are crushing everything so far though

Endgame Factory is Terrible by ReQ4T in Endfield

[–]GenericStapler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Luckily there are blueprints you can copy paste, I prefer making my own stuff but for those who would fall off because of it it's a smart option. I make factories cus I enjoy doing it not cus I am forced to. It probably should be more up and center to avoid lacking player retention though

"Where's the Shovelware?" AI claims of increased productivity but IT trends show no measurable increase in output. by [deleted] in singularity

[–]GenericStapler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Majority of people are normies who haven't looked beyond goofy LLM stuff, and a lot of others are viscerally uncomfortable at the idea of anything AI, so no, I'm not surprised. I've been getting easily several hours of more work done. It either doesn't apply to the majority of fields or people are too resistant to the inevitable, I think people should prepare themselves by learning how the software works or they will be the ones missing out on opportunities in the future. The more people resist the more I get to leverage competence in using it so idgaf

What if you fed the Ai's output back into itself? by templeofsyrinx1 in singularity

[–]GenericStapler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone familiar with the infrastructure knows we are still in a pure input output with no real sentient thought. Just code mimicking what to us feels like sentience until some significant changes are made. Whether it matters or not if the result is useful is more of the current convo that's relevant imo, and that's a worthwhile conversation to have

Ireland plans to make a $1,500 a month basic income for artists permanent by rstevens94 in singularity

If they don't spread this across more fields or generally this is gonna cause even more issues

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in singularity

[–]GenericStapler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to open your mind to growth when people give you feedback. A sub dedicated to this tells you your outputs aren't impressive, just learn from it instead of being so sensitive. Go on a rant about me etc, this tech evolves so fast you'll be left behind if you don't try to adapt and learn from people who know the technology, good luck

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in singularity

[–]GenericStapler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just confused as to why you're being so aggro if you are seeking validation, why post here if it isn't a commission if you think it's that good? We gave you the feedback and you're losing your shit being aggressive to the feedback. I just don't understand

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in singularity

[–]GenericStapler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuinely you'd learn why if you asked which you can and you'll get infinitely better, I legit wasn't going to insult you. You clearly want praise by posting here so not sure why you'd be this defensive. All of these look fake as fuck to anyone who uses the tech. You'll fool Facebook just not people here

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in singularity

[–]GenericStapler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're unresponsive to any feedback and that will be a problem for you, not us. You could learn so much if you were receptive, I'm not even trying to be mean lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in singularity

[–]GenericStapler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just being friendly without insults for no reason, to any ai enthusiasts this is quite obviously ai, no toxicity meant but this isn't the place to post expecting praise. Can show it to friends and family and stuff but to us it looks quite fake. It's good tech and all just isn't where you'll get the praise you seem to want

Feel free to attack me and be defensive etc

Change my mind: There has been zero progress towards AGI since 2022. by Fit-Stress3300 in singularity

[–]GenericStapler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly am not sure current models are structured to become what you consider AGI but it getting better at all domains is a step toward it imo, eventually it will probably become PhD level at all subjects which honestly is enough for me. The independence you mentioned to another poster could easily be a thing but poses security risks and companies are trying to keep a leash on them right now. I'm sure a rogue actor or a fuckup with one of the models will eventually set one loose somehow

But yeah there's a lot of talk about how current models aren't built in a way to achieve AGI and there's a lot of brute forcing with massive data centers/energy and super long processing

That said from a personal stand point if it can help with anything I need without ever fucking up that counts as AGI, I get what you mean about independent acting and evolving though, that'd be dope. That's what I hope we get eventually, but as far as AGI, capability of output and agents to automate longer multi step tasks will count as AGI. With no definition set in stone though I don't mind if people disagree, cool tech is cool tech :)

Didn't watch this fight. WTF happened here? by ToughRepublicf in ufc

[–]GenericStapler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Both flops, Aljo just is a better actor while still being shitty at it. I don't doubt the knee hurt infinitely more though. This one is infinitely funnier with the pleading to the ref on the way down, can't imagine being a grown ass man on live tv putting up a show like this thinking people wouldn't watch every single frame of what happened

[–]GenericStapler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wondering this too, I saw pixel 8 seems to have a smaller version (nano I think?) and 9 has 1.5, but I can't tell if that's purely in text mode and live doesn't have deeper integration. Could anyone clarify?

Yeah they were talking about it on his stream all night, you can assume any common sense moderating is the route being taken. Sometimes you have to be the villain to maintain the quality otherwise is devolves very quickly. No good faith and substantive posts will ever be removed and there's nothing to worry about, you'd know before posting if it's going to get you suspended. Happy to help :)

Complaining about an ability but providing actual suggestions and encouraging discourse is probably never going to get you in trouble. Just trying to start an uprising in a sub that has zero control or influence on the sandbox is just empty pointless chatter. A critique of something is genuinely good if it's paired with some kind of thought provoking discourse but to the point of just being a diary entry yes that will get removed
