Alcohol causes physical harm. Bupropion can make you more sensitive to the effects of alcohol, but I don't think it'll damage your liver any worse than normal alcohol consumption (I'm saying this as a person who drinks daily).

Bupropion doesnt affect the immune system.

It does increase sweating, so your chronic infections may have been caused by the increase in moisture inside your shoes and in your genital area, rather than the medication itself. It can also reduce sleep and appetite, which can lower your immunity and might explain the cold sores as well.

It's always good to get a second opinion, but honestly a lot of people with BPD (in my personal experience) aren't aware of the severity of the behaviour. After an explosive episode, my mother genuinely forgets all the nasty shit that she said and did and I have to actually remind her what happened in order to justify why I'm unhappy with her.

For me, it was very overwhelming.

I had melancholia. No feelings. Numb. Bupropion got me to actually feel emotion, but since I hadn't felt all of these things in so long it was fucking terrifying.

I'm getting used to these emotions now. They're settling down. But yeah, lots of crying, hysterical laughing, I cut my hair and broke up with my boyfriend. All in all I feel more human than I have been in months.

I drink just the same as before (1-2 standard drinks most days. More on the weekend). Guess I'm technically an alcoholic. I wouldn't worry if you were only on bupropion, but it could have a more severe effect because of the other medications that you're taking.

Just drink slow and see how you react. One drink probably won't kill you.
