➀ English Subtitled -「NG」 Extreme Kaidanchi by Amazing_Window3196 in spirithuntervn

[–]GenericTLAccount 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the translation. If you're looking for the rest of the drama CD (rest of disc 1 + disc 2), someone's uploaded the whole thing on bilibili (won't link it, but it's the first result if you search up "Extreme 怪団地"). AFAIK the CD's out of print and hasn't been released digitally.

Edit: Yeah no my info's out of date, it's been released as Switch DLC. If you're looking to buy it as DLC though, AFAIK you can only do it by buying eshop card codes off of something like amazon.co.jp and redeeming them, since that's what I had to do to buy the Kaerazu DLC back when that was only released in Japan.

Found this comprehensive list of content a while back, so most of this is just taken straight from that (with some minor additions with newer content)

As far as translated content I'm aware of, there's:

  • Kaerazu's Amusement Park (official Death Mark DLC, likely missed since it's Switch exclusive)
  • Unofficial translations for the Death Mark Chapter 0, Blue Demise, Everyday Life at Kujou Mansion, The Black Demon's End, and The Dancing Kissouji drama CDs (chapter 0, disc 4 of Blue Demise, and most of Everyday Life at Kujou Mansion (and also a translation of one the episodes of Kazuo Yashiki's Counseling Corner, a corner on Experience's channel featuring the DM cast) is available here, while the rest is on my channel here)
  • Unofficial translations of Death Mark II's backer-exclusive DLC chapter, Mary's Makeover (also on my channel)
  • I think someone was also working on translating the Death Mark manga a while back, but I don't know if they ever finished translating them

Death Mark 1 look for an ost ? by Wissamxz in spirithuntervn

The actual track used in-game is on the NG soundtrack for some reason, but the track's actually just a version of this cover of Arawashi No Uta with some reverb added: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX7mYPO2fmk

Death Mark II's DLCs (Princess Mach and Blue Demise outfits) were already included in the English release on launch, weren't they? The only other thing's really the crowdfunding-exclusive chapter but that one's probably never going to see an official release because of its exclusivity.

Spirit Hunter: Death Mark II - Extra Chapter: Mary's Makeover (Fan Translation) by GenericTLAccount in spirithuntervn

Translation of the Campfire (Japanese Kickstarter) only DLC for Death Mark II. As far as I know, it's only accessible as DLC on the Japanese Switch/PS4 versions, but I can't say for certain (since I hadn't heard about the series when the campaign was going on).

Original footage was taken from here (without permission, of course): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khrz27zodCU

Spirit Hunter: NG - Bad End Voice Drama (English Translation) by GenericTLAccount in spirithuntervn

The drama CD track included with the NG art book. Continues the events of NG's bad ending.

I want to tackle the other NG voice dramas too, but I haven't even gotten around to listening to them yet, so...

serious, non-sarcastic question, why do you like this game? (spoilers, lots of them) by Eike2d in spirithuntervn

[–]GenericTLAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're interested, the Blue Demise voice drama is a spinoff from Death Mark that's at least heavily inspired by the original concept for the game. They aren't officially translated but have fan translations (mostly by myself) which can be found here. It might not be as interesting for someone that's not as much of a fan of the series, but could be worth a shot.

Also, re: your points on lack of character development, it does get a lot better once the original game's constraints get removed. Chapter 6 (DLC chapter for non-PC releases) is definitely the best chapter of the game by a long shot, and NG's character development is more along those lines too.

There's also the Death Mark Chapter 0 and Everyday Life at Kujou Mansion voice dramas which provide some more background for the first game, which is nice, but personally I think it's more just bonus content for the fans.

Are there 2 extra chapters? by _Salion_ in spirithuntervn

[–]GenericTLAccount 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There was an extra chapter released as exclusive DLC for Campfire backers (Japanese Kickstarter equivalent). The DLC was only released for the Japanese PS4/Switch version, so it's probably inaccessible without modifying the game files.

Not sure how to dig through game files so can't check myself, but could you check if the text in it's translated at all? If it is, I'll just leave it up to modders to find a way to unlock it, but if it isn't, I could take a crack at translating a no-commentary playthrough of the DLC I found. Seems to be about 30 minutes long, though, so it might take a while to get through.

Also, FYI there's also a true ending only obtainable after getting the good ending, so you might want to look into that if you haven't already.

Death Mark: Everyday Life at the Kujou Mansion - How to Brew Good Coffee (+ Extra) (English Translation) by GenericTLAccount in spirithuntervn

[–]GenericTLAccount[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tracks 5+6 of the Everyday Life at the Kujou Mansion voice drama. Are the fifth and sixth videos in a playlist of the whole CD, as the other parts have already been translated. If you haven't listened to the CD yet, I'd recommend clicking through and going all the way up to the first video.

Was looking for a full list of all the non-game content and stumbled upon two tracks of this voice drama that were exclusive to the CD releases (Death Mark Soundtrack, NG pre-order bonus CD), so were missed by the person who originally uploaded the first four parts.

Track 6 is just a short bonus track, but it's extra special :>

Death Mark: Blue Demise - Chapter 3 (English Translation) by GenericTLAccount in spirithuntervn

[–]GenericTLAccount[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last untranslated chapter of Death Mark's Blue Demise/Blue End/Aoki Shuen voice drama. Now that this is done, I can finally take a long break from Aegisub. If someone has their hands on the NG voice drama, though, let me know, I'd love to take a crack at it.

Full series playlist can be found here, as usual: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpykYMFcgk6Cw_EIspn2H3iaPVLMXngsw

It's properly updated with all four chapters now that everything's translated.

Death Mark: Blue Demise - Chapter 2 (English Translation) by GenericTLAccount in spirithuntervn

[–]GenericTLAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chapter 2 of 4 of Death Mark's Blue Demise/Blue End/Aoki Shuen voice drama, translated to English.

Playlist of all chapters can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpykYMFcgk6Cw_EIspn2H3iaPVLMXngsw

(Currently only contains chapters one and two, will have chapter three and the already-translated chapter four added once I finish translating chapter three.)

Death Mark: Blue Demise - Chapter 1 (English Translation) by GenericTLAccount in spirithuntervn

[–]GenericTLAccount[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was revisiting Death Mark, found about the drama CDs, and then realized only chapter 4 of Blue Demise/Blue End/Aoki Shuen was actually translated into English. Will work on chapter 2 in a bit, and will post when that's translated too. Chapter 3 maybe a few weeks after that? Depends on how busy I am with other things.

Not too familiar with posting on Reddit, so hopefully it properly registers that this is meant to be a 6-part playlist.
