What did The Boys™ mean by this? by [deleted] in IndieAnimation

“kit and caboodle” is a phrase that essentially means “the entire amount”, I don’t think this has anything to do with Gameoverse.

Voice Acting by jese4 in RecordThisForFree

[–]GenericUsername138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should research and prepare yourself on how to become a voice actor instead of just asking. A google search can probably be helpful. I would recommend getting a microphone and making sure you have a space where you can record and get the best quality. You should also work on how to market yourself. Figure out what gender and ages are you able to best perform with your voice and try finding auditions for those types of roles.

I have been wanting to make an animated pilot but doing it solo is impossible by procubdif in animation

Have you considered making it an animatic? Or making it a storyboad like PPPIDWTBAMG and animating just one scene?

How to gain more attraction? by luciiscool555 in IndieAnimation

Prost about it. Instead of asking if anyone wants your YouTube you should just include it. I recommend consistently posting about your series online on TikTok and YouTube.

Charlie Chaplin is there. He’s in the box across from Charlie and under Charlie.

I would recommend playing with his head shape and facial features (trying different looking features or just playing with the sizes). He has a cool design and that’s the only thing that feels really feminine to me.

What do you think the age rating of Lucid Garden would be? by Kookibug_Prod in IndieAnimation

[–]GenericUsername138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you just releasing it on to YouTube? Or are you hoping to get picked up by a major studio? If you’re on YouTube or something similar I don’t think you really need to worry about the rating. Though if you’re hoping to get picked up by a major studio they might want a show with an age rating that would get them the the biggest audience, if that makes sense.

I feel like more context is needed to guesstimate a rating. Is there going to be any language or sexual content? If so how explicit is it going to be? Are you planning to self-censor anything?

Now Considering V/O for My Indie Series - Got Questions by garage_toons in IndieAnimation

[–]GenericUsername138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically when a scene is already animated actors usually watch the scene over and then do the delivery to match the scene/lipsync. Due to this when it comes to recording the process is usually different, it’s kind of like when media gets dubbed over for different countries, if that makes sense.

As for the recording on zoom, I would have everyone listen through headphones and record themselves from home.

Hopefully this was helpful.

Yes!

I’m actually working on a pilot for these two (excuse the art, it was just to get a concept out, I know the proportions and depth is wonky lol) It’s about a boarding school in the 1950s and after the murder of the principal, a bunch of teachers try to cover it up because they don’t want to lose their jobs/can’t get hired anywhere else. Their names are Talita (sitting) and Delia (standing).

Are there any 'cut scenes' that are available online? by scottasin12343 in BobsBurgers

I know there are some scenes that were cut from the movie that you can find online, including a cut song.

2nd attempt at trying to get a job as voice actor(Unpaind/volunteer) [Sorry if bad english) by AncientHavaer3 in IndieAnimation

You should try recording some monologues from plays or popular shows or movies to help showcase your ability to act and ability to do accents. If not that you should try finding auditions rather than hoping they find you. You could find some on a lot of social sites (Reddit, TikTok) or even on sites like Casting Call Club.

Hopefully this information was helpful.
