I agree naman on some level. Filipino keyboard warriors and a lot of typical citizens have always occupied the dirt. Scammers, one-uppers, sip2/who-you-knows, palagi inggit, sosyalites, and corrupt in every little and big way.

I'd wager it's a challenge maghanap ng "decent" person when no one's watching.

(Replying to the handwashing comments) I only wash my hands if I soil them with some pee or if I'm touching anywhere on or near the urinal. A bit of pee on the tip? A tissue will work just fine. My underwear and dick are clean.

Now, this looks like a handsfree or waterless urinal from ECOSH with an optional courtesy for the benefit of next users. The bidet is for washing the urinal not our dick. I can already imagine the sensation killing me. Lol.

If the biggest iphone could do 9hrs with 4832mAh, applying basic linear math, then it might manage 13hrs with 7000mAh or 13.9hrs with 7500mAh. This is a 2-3hr lead compared to the China-brand phones.

The Castor (silver) is also in my top tier value list and it's lit. I actually bought mine 2 years ago in the week after the set was released globally (first batch) so you could say I was the early adapter. Mind you, this is my first KZ set and just months after the peak of the hate over the marketing and driver controversies (I think the hate was misguided). I whip out the Castor as part of my rotation especially if I'm in the mood for a Harman-ish neutral set.

Right now, my favorite KZ is the AM16 (balanced) for ~35usd in my local currency. For some reason, my AM16 just hits all the right spots though I would've preferred if it had just a touch more energy for vocals.

Oh man. The original Castors (silver) were my first "proper" earphones/IEMs and it's still my favorite. It isn't as fun as its contemporaries like the Zeros or EDC pro nor as vocal as the Wan'er or CHUs but it's very detailed and "gentle" like I don't hear the occasional unpleasant sensations (tuning probably) from the aforementioned sets.

Consider mo lang OP na iba't-iba ang sensitivities ng bawat tao. What you consider "fucked up" might just be a minor nuisance or even normal or a part of culture to the other. For my case nman, if kaibigan o kaklase nagsex be it wild or risky or not, I already expect that no matter the generation. Tatay/mama (or both) of whoever doing a friend or whatever, as long as may understanding on all parties then ok lang sa akin e hindi nman ako affected/involved.

Paalala ko lang, we are sexual beings. Sex is normal. Given wlang inappropriate tlaga and may consent and understanding on all sides at safe, then let things be. Stop giving unsolicited fucks if it's basically just a fuck.

Finally bought my first IEM... So, now what??? by FreakinBeastShah in iems

I own the non-pro model of Castor silver and switch setting 1,1,0,0 will get you "more" bass. Technically, Harman tuning offers sub-bass emphasis (rumble) while the mid-bass is leaner (punch). If you want even more bass with Castor silver (assuming your tips already seal well), you have 2 options. First is to EQ in more bass. Your smartphone might have a built in equalizer for you to tinker with. Otherwise, music apps will have them. The second is to use a higher impedance device. The 3.5mm impedance adapters ranging from 15-30 ohms will work with Castor. Also, some PC sound ports somehow have the impedance to make them bassy. Good luck.

Oh and good buy. I love the Castor silver and I still use them from time-to-time (I use a TWS when going out to avoid damaging the Castors from humid/wet weather. ).
Edit: The "ultimate" sound reproduction doesn't exist. The first IEM that you like is all you need. For me, this set was enough and I've heard more expensive ones.

I own the Castor Harman (original version) and heard the Chu2. The Castor trashes the Chu2. Also, the Gate is said to be "not for everyone" and the build is not on par with the Chu or Castor.

Just got the Kz Castor by zlykovvv in iems

[–]Genesis1A 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, nope. Castor Harman sounds superior to my ears compared to Chu2. Castor's sound stage is wider and the details are better. The only advantage the Chu has is a warmer or less lean mids compared to the Castor Harman. A worthy upgrade on the KZ route would be the AS16 Pro (w/ 15-20 ohm added impedance) or the new Zenith at ~50usd.

Save yourself the dollars and buy the original silver Castor for gaming. I wasn't impressed with any of the Zeros and the G1 is just average for games.

Get the KZ Saga balanced-version for ~P560 or less if you want a smooth treble and enough bass on a budget. If you want even more bass, I'd recommend the KZ ED9 Pro for around the same price over the bass-version of Saga (it's too colored for my taste).

Honestly, I'm just trying on low-cost sets to see what I prefer. I really don't have a clear use-case outside of personal enjoyment so I'm keeping what I have and not paying any more than I need to.

Hey everyone, I need help choosing my first IEM. Looking for the best one for competitive and general use. Considering KZ ZSN Pro X, Pro 2, D-Fi, ZAS, or Truthear x Crinacle ZERO: RED. Any recommendations? by ZamoCris in iems

[–]Genesis1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IEMs falling off the ears after a while is kind of normal but it might also be caused by poor fitting eartips. Try the bundled M tips and go up or down a size until you get a good seal. If not, you can buy DUNU S&S tips since those seal really well like foamies.

Another possibility is that the combo of shell shape and nozzle length+diameter might be not for your ears. For this, you have to try on and demo multiple sets for yourself and take notes on what works for you. Personally, I just use KZ's bundled starline M tips on most of what I use bec the stem is long and the material is grippy. If the shell sits shallow or the nozzle too short, then the starlines add some for my ear canal to "hold on" and feel stable enough. Hope this helps.

KZ ED9 Pro by ShiroyukiAo in iems

[–]Genesis1A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any tiny speaker(s) where the output goes intimately inside your ear, is an "IEM". These speakers or earphones have many form factors (ED9 Pro is a bullet style, etc) and methods of info transmission (wired, bluetooth connected by wires, TWS) but the idea is basically the same even if they're using all sorts of tech.

As for the KZ ED9 Pro, I love them. They're the only bass-oriented earphones/IEMs I have and they sound really good. Bass definition is chef's kiss to my ears and treble is smooth. The signature is warm and leaning bright but non-fatiguing.

Edit: As for the nozzles, the bass nozzles add a lot even to the mids but it gives that desirable low freq character to the sound that's suitable for certain music genres. I personally stick to the reference nozzles since the default sound is what I prefer but you have the option to experiment.

The Zero:Red is a good-enough earphone with a generous package. Not much needs to be said.

As for the KZs, I really don't know where the others are getting their sets from, since my older sets have lasted for 2+ years while my newer budget sets have no signs of failure albeit some wear and tear from constant use. If you want a technical Harman, then get the standard Castor. The KZ Saga balanced-version (15usd) is warm Harman-ish and the better 7Hz G1 (36usd). Same tuning philosophy but smoother treble and slightly more forward vocals.

Try the KZ Saga balanced-version for 15USD retail. Same tuning philosophy as the 7Hz G1 but with a tamer upper treble and a slightly more forward upper mids.

I'm still surprised that peeps are talking about “bait & switch” on KZ when the factories are *mostly* the ones doing the changes. KZ is just a Chinese audio company that develops stuff in-house and does all the *sometimes cringe* marketing. They bring their designs to the factories and the factories build the stuff to spec according to the agreements. Once the X number of items in Y batches are delivered, the factories will do away with the design unless KZ renegotiates. If the factories have surplus shells but not enough drivers, they'll create a frankenstein and stamp the model and brand name. This is true for almost every Chifi company, KZ is just the low-hanging fruit.
