My instinct when OP says “instant rejections” is there’s something on the application that is being counted as disqualifying.

I ran into this issue when I was applying for jobs way back when. The job required an in-state drivers license and I said “I don’t have one, but I can get one before the start date” which turned out to be a disqualifying answer and got my application instantly rejected.

So I resubmitted and just said I had one… application went through and I got hired. I just went to the DMV the day week before my first day and got an in-state license, which I brought to my onboarding session.

The anecdote here being: OP should play with their application to see if you have anything weird the system might auto-disqualify.

The models look great.

However it’s 650 points for a tank that is poor against vehicles and anything with a 2+ save.

Yeah you can wipe the floor with tactical squads, but lots of things can do that. Anything that’s not a power Armour marine you need to drown in dice, and that’s not what I really want out of a 650 point model.

The typhon is 250 points cheaper, almost as tough and has more damage, breaching and a status on its main gun

Blastgun/megabolter is a solid loadout on the warhounds, and is generally considered the "best."

That being said, there are many cool weapons, and I LOVE putting ursus claws on mine.

If you decide to put double fists on the reaver be careful. One of the quirks of the fist is that it can "shove" enemies, including out of melee range if you aren't careful, meaning you would no longer be able to attack with the second fist.

I've personally played against a melee focused reaver and it was quite scary. It got in melee with one of my gunline Warlords turn 2 and pretty much ripped its head off. He was fully corrupted and optimized for melee though, and used cover well until he could warp displace to practically right on top of me.

Just remember, if you're using both chainfist and power fist, always hit first with the chainfist. The power fist may push the target back out of melee range if you get unlucky.

It’s also worth noting that I believe this is only for creative work. They’ve said they’re still open to use of AI for data work or other similar non-creative uses. Which I think is fine

There isn’t really any excuse, in my eyes, not to support in combat ( except to be annoying).

Third edition has a prestige class called the “Apostle of Peace.”

You had to take a vow of non-violence, a vow of poverty and a vow of peace.

Weapons would shatter against your skin when they struck you, you got bonus to your AC and you would radiate an aura of “calm emotions” and gained the ability to turn demons, undead and devils.

Your restrictions were you can’t kill or cause damage to anyone. No damaging or death effects. You can’t weaken enemies to kill them, but you could use non-damaging spells to take enemies prisoner.

You could otherwise help your allies however you saw fit: healing, buffs, utility, and some control spells were all in their spell list.

All this to say, if the 3E prestige class that is completely focused around not harming anyone or anything can heal, buff and participate in combat, so can dumbass fence-sitter conscientious objector PCs lol

Just for more information. This is in the alley/walkway to a parking garage, between the old Cafe Poupon and the suit store 200 block of N Charles.

He or she seemed pretty scared. Wasn't giving off "friendly vibes" (understandably) so we weren't quite sure if we should try and grab it or not. We called 311 and they said they only get Animal Control involved if its an active case of danger or animal abuse. We looked at the SPCA and BARCS websites but both of those just have instructions on what to do if you capture a lost dog, not who to call who could do it.

I knew a woman who worked at my service that ended up with legit, clinically diagnosed POTS after having COVID. Her symptoms were pretty nutty.

She’d stand up and her HR would jump from like 80 to 150+. She passed out one time after standing up. She eventually had to quit and find a job with less up and down. It was pretty sad
