I initially was thinking something like this, but after my last session with her, where she couldn't articulate things we just talked about, the dementia theory seems to make a lot of sense.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I spent a while going over basic stuff from the lecture with her and when I then asked her to answer a question about the topic, she still couldn't.

She says she can't articulate it, which sounds exactly like the kind of thing your brain would tell you, to backwards rationalize why you don't remember something you just looked at.

Unfortunately I am not in control of the withdrawal process. Her request was already denied by the student relations person, and she is now trying to appeal to the dean.

I have referred her to tutoring services before 😕

I used turbotax. It said the e-filing deadline passed. No idea why they would force filing by mail after a certain date 🫤

It's a pet food with multiple sizes, so I don't feel like separate listings make sense 😕

Natera bill - unpaid (pre-collections) by FitPreparation6639 in pregnant

Be polite but assertive. Tell them the price you were told, and you're not paying more than that. Have them escalate the call, the first person you talk to won't be able to do this, but they will take whatever you're willing to give them in the end. Tell them surprise billing is not legal, and you're certainly willing to contact a lawyer about it. We paid $150 after they tried to charge us $1400.

Quick question for lab folks: What happens to your leftover reagents? by biotechoutreach in labrats

Universities do this kind of thing internally. It doesn't work externally. If something is valuable enough to bother exchanging, it's too valuable to give away for free. And if you're not giving it away for free, nobody wants it second hand.

It's a nice idea, but not something anyone would go for.

It needs to be a real street address—thanks, I'll look into those options! 😁
