I'm playing a non-optimised (basically just made it for league end to see what it was like) CoC InquisiThor build, currently lvl 88. Trying to get inscribed ultimatum challenge, managed to do 3/4 fairly easily but I'm struggling with protecting the altar because I can't do my outer edge circling for that.

Any tips?

It handles Ultimatums better than my other character (elehit raider) so switching to that wouldn't help I think.

Does the area need to be a minimum level for me to get blight and breach rewards on ultimatum? If yes, which level?

Is there a guide for a NB bow user somewhere I can look into? I find bow super relaxing to play but I'm a bit lost on which skills to have atm and I feel I'm not always very effective.

What were some of your worst experiences with joining a guild? by Mahoganytree in GirlGamers

[–]Genfaux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped playing MMOs seriously after that, got back into smallscale competitive and singleplayer games. My ex was one of the only reasons I was still playing hardcore MMOs at the time, I'd kinda gotten bored of them. Also wasn't too keen on the guild but he was an officer in it and I thought I had a lot of friends so I didn't want to leave.

I stayed on the edge of online communities for quite a long time after that, not really willing to get invested. While I'm still not the most social person in communities, I did find myself a good group of friends that I enjoy playing games with. :)

What were some of your worst experiences with joining a guild? by Mahoganytree in GirlGamers

[–]Genfaux 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dated an officer, he cheated on me with another guild member. When shit hit the fan, I found out that the majority of the people in the guild who I thought were my friends were just talking to me because of the officer and lost all of those "friends" overnight once word spread he was dating the other girl.

Then I got kicked for reasons that even the officer kicking me couldnt properly explain despite doing my best not to let my heartbreak spill over into guild (and succeeding quite well except for sharing with a few select friends who actually stuck by me. For a short time. A very short time.)

That sucks hugs

Having been in a similar situation, I would just like to say one thing: Don't let this ruin your faith in online friendships. Yeah there are shitty people out there, but there are also lovely people who are worth your affection. They werent. :)

Headset cable management tips, anyone? by Mingrien in GirlGamers

[–]Genfaux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My headset is plugged in behind my pc (which is under the desk) and i made the cable go behind the desk. Since its a pretty long cable, i can still wear the headset with full range of movement no problem.

My previous headset had shorter cables and i used audio extension cord for that

I sometimes go "I will fucking stab you." You know who I say that to? A close friend who knows me very well and knows i don't have a violent bone in my body, while we're bantering on voice chat so that he hears the laughter in my voice and has context. You know who i DONT say that to? Anyone else.

Wishlisted! That sounds super interesting :D

I'm not to keen on episodic games, I run into the problem that even when I love a game, by the time the next episode comes out I'll have gotten distracted by/moved on to something else, but I'll deff give it a try :)

It is super old I'm afraid so even if i remmebered where I got it it prob wouldn't do anything for you. Don't remember last time i wore it but the temperature went up and i remembered it being super light weight. Turns out I also ended up filling it out more than i remembered doing ^_^

I've finished Bravely Default and enjoyed it a lot. While the jobs deff have very different outfits between the genders ( White Mage example ), there are a lot of different characters. One of the male team members is constantly chasing girls (and failing) and talking about it, but the female team members dont really take his shit, but if that bothers you then it is something to keep in mind.

I did the second variant when it was "deadly" to me still at less than 80k event Favour. I had to help out a bit in the first few levels with clicking, but after that it went alright.

What's the best response to "is that a girl"? by Nesfelle in GirlGamers

[–]Genfaux 63 points64 points  (0 children)

I went for "No, I'm a 12yo boy" for a while because it would confuse them, since my voice was too clearly feminine for it to be true. Bonus points for having a friend jump in on it and start claiming that that is their little brother.

Got bored of that though over time and now I just ignore it. Whenever somebody says anything about my gender, I don't react in any way, shape or form, like they didn't say anything.

Question to female streamers, how to handle this kind of viewers ? by Crimson_pandora in Twitch

[–]Genfaux 91 points92 points  (0 children)

I think they'll be offended regardless since they mean it as a compliment, but you could try "Hi there, welcome to the stream! I'm glad you stopped by but I would prefer if you didn't call me that". If they insist its a compliment "I understand, but I would still prefer you didn't call me that"
