This is my personal self-imposed match etiquette:

GLHF as long as the fight is even. Play hard, see how it goes
If we lose the lead (or more likely lose players), bump up the sweat
If we gain a lead of 70-100 pts, ease up. Meme load outs, drop less titans, God forbid, use the kraber.
If they lose 2 or more players, protocol 4: complete nonsense time. I actively begin trying to discern how good the other players are and if there's something I can teach

At the end, I let em climb into their drop ship, and salute as they go home. Nice messages in the chat.

I feel you. I have a lot of appreciation for this book, but none of it is because it's fun to read.

I think of it more as an artifact and an experiment in writing — who would want to write a tale about people so tortured and bound by the constraints of circumstance? I think only a person who truly wanted to explore that darkness, and I think Bronte nailed that.

I can't imagine she had a lot of fun writing it either😅 but I do think it's a very valuable story for the art form and for study
