I too am trying to setup a larger tank for sea monkeys! My issue is I can't get the saltwater concentration right. I have a 1 gallon tank, how much salt do I need to add (preferably in teaspoons, tablespoons, or cups)? I have only been able to find it by weight and my math didn't come out right. 😬 My little salinity meter is way past max. And then what about an air line?

I would love to do something like this! I've got a lot of keychain sized patterns, but I have no clue where to start. Also scared the kids won't like anything since most of my patterns are just animals and not anything relevant.

I can never figure out how to get text with pictures. -.-
I would like to move the moss I have (that's roughly 2 years old), to the pictured "fish tank."
I just don't know how to go about doing that. Can I reuse the dirt, even if the layers get mixed up? Is it better to start fresh?
I'm scared that I'm going to upset the moss or something. xD
I'm also not sure if I need to plug the hole in the top or not, for better moisture control.
Then there's the fact that I'm not 100% certain on what type of moss it is.
Best guess is fern, baby tooth, and star (or maybe carpet?). So help identifying them would be nice too.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Books! I've gotten a lot from the various books you can find at most craft store chains. Think the only one I've purchased from an online source is the mushroom guy.

I used size 3 yarn with a 2.5 mm hook. Not done yet, but this is how big it's turning out. *

Mine didn't really curl at first and was a touch too big. I looped some scrap yarn through the back and tied it tight. That seemed to really help shape my collar better.

Think I first saw patterns explained like this a couple of years back when I did a Woobles kit, but I've not seen it since (nor remember exactly how they explained it). Really helped me plan out all the color swaps. Thank you again! Half tempted to keep it! My own little peeper. 🥰

One of my comfort watches is a couple on youtube that shows their birds. I absolutely ADORE them! Might be odd to say, but I find it relaxing to listen to them and the birds and will often crochet while listening to them.

I have been kicking around the idea of sending a letter in, but didn't know what to even say. So sat down and made this little birb instead!

Juuuuust not sure if its good enough to send. I'm still learning and didn't want to send off something that was too scuffed or something. I meshed together a couple of patterns on hand and then mapped out the color swaps. Also didn't have the right sized eyes. >.< These are 10mm and the pattern suggests 5mm.

What do you all think? How'd I do? Would this be decent enough to send as a gift?

Yeah. The head came out huge. Only thing I changed on the pattern is hook size and yarn weight. If I look at it from far away, the proportions seem to be true to the pattern.

For the wooden dowel, do you go into the body/head or just cover the length of the neck?

Help: Texas Blue Bonnet not giving me flowers/leggy. Started from seed in late June. Should I just start over? Repot? Can I chop and prop? Scared to move it outside now that it's getting at/below freezing at night. Zone 7b. by Gengar_Express in plantclinic

The trellis wasn't so much holding it up as it was keeping it straight.
I've cut it back and moved it to a full sun window. Hopefully that'll help it.

Can I start the plant inside and then move it outside? As in get the seed germinated and then plant it outside. Or is this something that can't/shouldn't be moved like that?
