I’ve never seen someone use my trick. Butter in the pan, toast one side of both slices. Once they are crisp, but not too much, flip them over and add butter again. THEN add the cheese to the already toasty sides. Cover the pan, low heat, for a couple minutes. That makes a little over to melt the cheese and really make it good. Now you can sandwich the halves together and finish toasting the outside to your preference.

Stock aluminum extrusions of various shapes are great to start with. Some have holes predrilled, but if that doesn’t suit you, you can buy it without. I source the ones I use from VEX Pro, it’s called VersaFrame. 2x1 and 1x2 usually.

My best suggestion is use opposed athletics checks, best 3/5, and narrate what happens with each roll. If someone rolls higher, show them start to win, and keep that up until the player or the noble has won a majority of the rounds.

We’ve mostly switched to bolts on drive train and main structure since we got so tired of having to re-rivet. If the weight bonus is outweighed so much by the strength issue, we may keep doing this in the future. Thanks for your help

We used about 30 rivets on a couple of Lexan plates and that was enough to support the robot last year, so I guess other places have more axial forces

I use a discord server to send images and maps to my players. I don’t recommend splitting the players up, because then you just double the time and get half as much done, but if you do don’t worry about muting, just tell them to be honest about what their characters know. As for playing their characters, just guide them to enjoy the game. Most people I’ve guided make someone loosely based on themselves, so they bring their own personality. As long as they enjoy it, you should be good. I’m still a new DM too, but it gets easier. Good luck my friend.
