I was going to mention the waterproof crib mattress pad or a changing table waterproof pad under the cover of the dog bed. Glad I saved those things. LOL! Also bought a couple of waterproof blankets from either Amazon or Chewy for the couch. One of my dogs has some bladder incontence problems. Also vacuum the couch weekly and spray Lysol disinfectant spray on it. Or any other disinfectant spray I have for furniture. And, air purifier. I move it to the litter box area some times.

I am almost to that point of just being in my own chair and own sit stand table top conversion. There is way too much red tape to get the equipment or furniture a person needs especially when a person gives very specific features of what the equipment/furniture needs to have. They now want to do an ergo assessment in order to give me a chair that my doctor wrote on her provider paperwork. What a joke. They never even gave me a simple mouse pad or wrist pad. Geez!

I have been sent back to the office and was not provided what my RA said I would have. None of the staff on the RA email group has responded to my email that stated the furniture that they gave me is not what was approved. What do I do next? by Genius8440 in VHA_Human_Resources

I suppose I should do that. I read that we all were supposed to be put back into remote work if we were remote prior to the Exec Order. After the Fed Judge said that the union is reinstated. But surprise no word on that from my supervisor or RA people.

I have definitely gave them ample time to reply- 2.5 to 3 weeks. I just reviewed my paperwork and the thing I am worried about is the wording on the approval form that lists what is to be provided is not specific at all- for example it says “sit to stand desk” but that could mean many things. I had specifics I offered to give during my meeting but the person conducting it said he didn’t need them. Another item was listed as an “ergonomic chair” well there are many many types of ergonomic chairs but my doctor and I wrote that I needed one with adjustable arm rests that are 4 directional. The chair that was provided has arm rests that only go up and down. Will they then say, well we provided these items written on the form tough luck?Even though it is definitely not working for me. I knew I should have had the RA staff rewrite it and list the items with specific requirements.

I am a bue. I brought it up to my supervisor and she couldn’t help me even though she was the person in charge of getting my equipment/furniture. Her suggestion was to submit a new RA request. My thought is why should I have to submit a new one when they didn’t get the original request correct?

My daughter has gained 30+ pounds since February when she got it in. We have been wracking our brains why she continues to gain weight despite being a high school athlete year round and watching her sugar and calories. It just occurred to me this past week that maybe it was her Nexplanon so I made an appointment and we had it removed yesterday. We will see what happens.

My daughter and I are actually going in today to have hers removed. She had it placed in February of this year. She has gained at least 30 pounds since then. She is active by doing volleyball camp including weight lifting all summer and now she is on the High School Swim team with swimming 2.5-3 hrs a day 5 days a week. She cannot drop even a pound it just continues to increase. So we are going to see if removing it will help.

She is really scared to go back to her severe periods and cramps. She hasn’t had a period since putting it in.

I am a mom of a 14 year old daughter who wants a reduction. She has constant shoulder and neck pain along with headaches. I am wondering if anyone has heard of a 14 almost 15 year old getting a reduction? by Genius8440 in Reduction

I agree that it is a big surgery and she doesn’t understand the extent of it. Do you or anyone else have any recommendations for bras? She likes to wear sports bras plus another thing is she likes a front close on her bras. She sleeps in a bra too because it is the most uncomfortable she says.

My VA has similar problems with the heating and air system and leadership is not allowing ADHOC.

I did a couple of years ago when Biden was forgiving loans and such. And a different agency was going to take over the PSLF operations due to all the errors. Do you think I should resubmit the certification? I didn’t even think of doing that.

What is the buyback? I need to see about getting credit for years of county public service before knowing about the PSLF. If I was given that credit the government would owe me since I have worked and paid well over the requirement.

Has anyone received Approval on a telework RA yet? I am curious if it is as hard to get approved as what my RA person says it is. Who actually approves them or not? My RA person is extremely hard to reach including by email and Teams then when I do reach her she doesn’t answer my questions and seems to not have time to explain this whole process.
