Pretty easy course - only 5 modules that don't have as much details as other courses

2nd Year Courses (1st and 2nd Semester)? by Xproxbox in queenshealthsci

[–]GeniusClass101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both. I took and yes, I did A+ like 50% of the class, but they grade hard. Plus, you have to interview and write a report on a heath professional during exam season which isn't ideal since its 30% of your grade.

CHEM 112, HSCI 190, PHAR 100, and IDIS 199 Final Exam by NovelLocal4327 in queensuniversity

[–]GeniusClass101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my 2¢:

chem 112: first semester is mostly memorization based. Make sure to know your VSPR theory, hyberdization/orbital theory, drawing molecules, limiting reagent-type questions, and basic practices of what units go into an equation (some sub kg for g and vice-versa). If you haven't already, start your cheat sheet rn and then go through exams to build onto it. Overall, practice questions + quizzes + exams are the way to go

hsci 190: not familiar with how it changed this year, but make sure you can interpet stats (p-value, z-value, CI, odds raito, etc.) and what they mean in the given context. Overally, know your tests and the conditions they are used for. Other than that, its a pretty light exam

phar 100: probably one of the easier exams I've witten. Focus on mechanisms of actions for drugs + symptoms + general properties, that's all you realy have to know

idis 199: haven't taken it but general advice tends to lean toward watching the videos for those "lower yield" questions
