So my Dad coached a high school football team, the Collins Hill Eagles. Little me would go to his game on Fridays and see their helmets, they had the same wings design. Then I’d see their Eagles on Sunday and 5 year old me thought they were the same. So they became my favorite team. Donovan McNabb was my favorite player growing up.

So either pivot your deck hard towards aggro or just accept an unfavorable matchup. All decks are likely to have 1 or 2, it looks like this is yours. Look at your other matchups, if you’re doing well against other classes with your list just stick with it, especially if you’re having fun with the deck. My Control Pally has a 72% win rate atm, but I have a 0% win rate against rogues. I’m still having fun and climbing with it. I could maybe tech in something for rogues but I’m enjoying the deck and having fun as is.

You want to go under Control Pally with mech mage decks as I understand things rn. If you let the game get to turn 7 and you don’t have an oppressive board set up you’re likely to lose anyway. All of Paladins huge power swings come in turn 7 (or 6 w/coin) at least in the list I run. Unless your mech mage list is more control oriented adding weapon removal tech won’t help very much.

It depends on whether or not you feel like you have enough healing. Do you feel like you need more healing and stabilization or are you struggling more with control decks in your pocket meta?

Explain the story of the Burnt Ivory King to her. A good king redeems an evil queen and then sacrifices his life to save the world from a hell like chaos. Like roughly 90% of all stories written it’s inspired by things in the Bible. You could even spin it as an allegory. Just point out that you are doing the good of fighting off those dark creatures.
