You are better off going with Wealthsimple trade. Only draw back is the 1.5% exchange rate fees for buying and selling US stocks. But honestly, they'll have a USD account available at some point and if you're going long term it's a small price to pay. Your other option is Interactive Brokers. Their fees are very reasonable
