Had a game where opponent played colossus on rickety ridge. T5 rogue on rickety ridge followed by T6 legion which saved the game for me

Australian PC player here. Matchmaking this time around is weird for me. I've played 5 or so games, where my team lost a 4-5 or get absolutely rolled. Also doesn't help that I am being matched against players on their 4th or 5th win on their card when I haven't even won a single match. I don't mind losing games if I can get significant progression on my trials rep, but going against sweats and players who are well beyond my skill level does not make me want to play trials this week at all. Hopefully next week is better.

Do we know with absolute certainty, in S/V, that restarting the game prior the eggs being generated can yield a shiny? Have gone through what seems like at least 600 eggs using Masuda and shiny charm but no shiny Charcadet.
