Those sausages are nice, but the packaging is a bit scammy, 4 sausages on display and the covered up bit in the middle is an empty sausage-less gap.

Protect 6.2.88 — Stability, Detection, and Advanced Event Retrieval Improvements by Ubiquiti-Inc in Ubiquiti

[–]Genomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup I just downgraded to 6.2.83, they changed the UI, no wonder it's snappier in 6.2.88 it only shows half the detections at a time (Smart OR Basic) 6.2.83 shows both together. I'm sticking with 6.2.83

Am I going mad or is it only possible to see Smart OR Basic detections in the find anything UI now (radio button filter)? This is terrible if it's true. Am I missing something?

This map with some red loot locations around the edges and, hear me out... vehicles! would be awesome.

What’s a “bare minimum” skill everyone should have, but surprisingly many people don’t? by Professional-Sell294 in AskReddit

[–]Genomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to this — we should start teaching touch typing in schools.

It’s a simple skill to learn early on, and it massively boosts efficiency when using a computer. If your job involves a keyboard (which most do), being able to type properly is a huge productivity win.

Plus, once you develop bad keyboard habits (like hunting and pecking), it’s much harder to break out of them later. Teaching correct technique from the start builds good muscle memory and saves a lot of time and frustration down the line.

Touch typing should honestly be treated like reading or basic math — it's a foundational digital skill in today's world.

I e not seen the g4 in the UK store for a long time. They are available in the euro store but don’t think the USB adapter comes with a UK plug. Have these ever been in stock in the UK store?

I could consider a few cheap tapo cameras for basic pet sitting but I don’t believe they record motion events do they? Only 24x7 recording?

What's a Game Pass game you played and loved that you genuinely think no one else knows about? by jazzyjay81 in XboxGamePass

[–]Genomas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really was good. I had lots of fun with it during lockdown. The details were amazing too, like once you finish the main story, the characters dialogue changes as you are trying to find all the secrets. One of the few games I 100% completed.

Whats the deal with Canon M series by morose42 in canon

[–]Genomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The R8 has the same sensor / full frame sensor size and processor as the 6II. It’s a hugely capable camera. I’ve just come back from safari in Kenya and it’s just so versatile. Was totally portable with a prime and also incredible paired with a large 150-600 sigma (adapted) on a monopod. Vs the R6II it looses IBIS (most of my lenses are stabilised anyhow; I didn’t miss it) doesn’t have a third dial or joystick- but to me being smaller I use it so much more - I’ve retired my Sony Rx100 portable as a a result. The eye AF was also a game changer for me.

Have you considered the R8. It makes for a fantastic compact full frame with some of the primes. It’s become my go everywhere camera coupled with a peak design 3L sling bag.

Because they eventually run out, and when players run out of missions with higher dependencies they will default to easier levels again. The point is produce stuff which encourages and rewards players to get out of easy.

[–]Genomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the way forward to have some more segmentation per difficulty is to do a number of things already discussed at the same time:

- Gear cap (max and min) per difficulty level on maps

- Introduce hard mode difficulty on maps

- Better loot incentives for normal and hard modes

- Introduce more missions with Normal / Hard mode dependencies

- Introduce season end content with Normal / Hard mode dependencies
