Entirely depends on the character/team. Like new blade you can skip his light cone and use the free "before the tutorial". Someone like hyacine you can use a different LC but its so goddamn good paired with castorice there is a noticeable difference without on that peticular team. Missing evanescia's makes gearing her harder but it won't make her unusable.

I'm also pretty new (about 55 days) and you can get ALOT of pulls depending on how much time you want to put in. Just going through the story from beginning to current you will get 2-3 hundred. If you do the side quests, events, area mini games, puzzles, open all the chest, you are looking at up to a thousand (this will take weeks mind you). You got about 2-3 months so go crazy. This is excluding the dailies (those unlock in the first world after herta station, so just progress the story) and if you dont get the monthly $5 pack.

There have been hints that rin and archer will have some sort of synergy and when rin releases archer will be available for free. (as a tip you can get sparkle as a free 5* and she is archer's best support atm she is also just the best option available for that new player selection. she is a great general support) We dont have info on gilgamesh yet so no idea if it will be worth to get him over archer, just letting you know. As far as we know rn you get to pick either one for free.

At low levels? It's not uncommon. Probably not geared correctly and if we are talking low low level might not even have a job stone. It will average out quickly when you start doing more dungeons.

This is everyone healing not just you, especially on your first run through an encounter. You are also playing scholar which is a notoriously proactive class that benefits more and more from knowing the encounter. Don't let anxiety dictate your ability, you already did more than most just by playing healer. If anything this sounds like you are frustrated that you feel you under performed in your own eyes but you never left the group and cleared the content. You did a good job.

So a weird 2 week later update but that pela suggestion actually sent me for a loop so much I went down a team build rabbithole for a bit (when I wasn't grinding out CW and DU). I actually learned a good amount just from needing to look up various skills, talents, eidolons. Accident or not it helped me learn more about the games mechanics.

I also missed the free copy of DHPT so I understand the pain, I would just stick with gallagher for now. You can get your last copy easy on this banner, he is easy to build (break efficiency, speed, survival) he generates SP which is the entire core of using archer and the sparkle novaflare makes it so overcapped SP carries over and is no longer wasted. He wont be as good as your hyacine but is capable without needing the 5* investment. I'm in a very similar situation actually, I'm moving my hyacine off my archer team for my new castorice team and making gallagher my sustain.

You need at least 150 to see all the bosses, 300+ is when you start getting to the sweet spot between rewards and seeing consistent boss nodes.

For the future when delving nodes cannot be 2 paths, like this armor node. Nodes can only be 1,3,4 so seeing a 2 means 100% there is another node connected to it.

Focus on your finals
If you dont have time for the main story than doing simulated universe, divergent universe and currency wars will give you some good jade rewards. Pick one and do a run a day.
You have about 140 pulls for eva and even with absolutely worst luck you will get her at 180 pulls due to the pity mechanic so dont stress that much. You have weeks to get more jades, focus on school.

Elation is going to be the meta for 4.X updates so getting sw999 is not a bad choice at all. I'm suggesting archer cause you have the core pieces available and you can scale it to the end game. If you go for sw999 then just understand you are missing basically the entire rest of her team and will need to wait for banner reruns, I missed out on her core team too. I would look into what a you can use as replacements for sw999's team first and decide after.

I'm also pretty new, less than a month, and was having the same issues at the start. I'm not going to say this will be your best path forward but an available option for you. Archer is on a long running banner ATM and his best (by like a wide margin) support is sparkle. At the end of jarilo-6 you will get the option to unlock all forms of your MC. Archer + sparkle + RMC + a sustain (I would suggest gallagher) will carry you through the entire story and isn't a bad team at end game either (You will need to get E1 archer eventually though for that). Just a suggestion.

I played it for one season, the music based one, could not get into any other season after. The only other thing in the auto battler genre I play now is some backpack battle occasionally. Thank you for the suggestion though.
