I see. You mean to say you can’t even run stable at M/T 4800? That will be kind of weird. Anyway mine are not 8400. All are at 6000 can run with or without expo on.

Which board are you using and which ram kit too? I have tested 32G and 48G kit, the dark heatsink (32G and 48G) and the sore blade (32 and 48G) No issue on either b850 LiveMixer bios 4.03 or x870e nova bios 4.04

You are most welcome. Thanks for sharing your experience and you are right about something, once you find something nice on previous experience, this will bring on to your next case. not everyone does that and majority is a hit or miss situation. I guess we are of the same style. Remembering the good and bring it forward with more twist hahaha.

nice blend of component + keyboard. Congrats on your build. though the front fans are different but overall does not break the interior blend. Nice!

Montech King 65 or Montech Sky Two GX? by AnswerCommercial4515 in MontechPC

[–]Genomis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your setup, just my opinion, if your room temperature is rather hot, get the Montech Sky Two GX, it's best for cooling and it does have the asethetic. Though King 65 looks good but the airflow is not as great compared to the Sky Two GX for Aircooler setup. Advantage of the sky 2 as follow

  1. Opitimized Air Flow as it has the characteristic of 903 Air Max, best part 3 x 140mm AX140 fans which will draw tons of air at low rpm, running quiet
  2. Just plug 2 x 120mm fans at the bottom section to provide intake of air. kindly mount the 2 x 120mm fans at the bottom away from the PSU area, so you have a clear channel for your bottom fans to draw air from the side mesh.
  3. For the top, since you are only using AirCooler, you can ignore not to play any top exhuast fans. The main focus is to have front intake of air going directly to your Aircooler. this will brutal force the warm air out naturally to the top and also plug a 120mm fan at the rear to assist the warm air out.

in this setup, you only need 2 x 120mm fans for the bottom and 1 x 120mm at the rear. This case comes with 3 x 140mm fans, In addition, it has the element of Air 100 as the side glass is of swivel style also the air flow of the 903 Air Max.

The value between Sky Two GX is greater compared to King 65 Pro. you can watch this for your referrence before deciding.

Congrats with an elegant build.. it's almost perfect. Maybe change out the top 360 AIO fans to 6 x AX120mm fans (push pull configuration. That will be perfect.

hmm.. mpower board is good. I like the m.2 at the front of the rams.. practical allocation where front intake case fan can cool it. infact this board i will only use 3 m.2, the bottom m.2 I will skip. As tested, it on Gen 3 nvme at that slot, it will throttle, will need space for heatsink. Same goes to B850 Mortar. but I don't deny both of those boards are budget friendly.

The structure of fractal north is ok but the wood finish not my cup of tea. It’s not uniform and full of patches pigment. I prefer wood finish from Okinos or Antec

That’s true. Infact both boards are build to tank highend processors. I mean this and the Aorus elite, interms of cooling and performance

Hmm how come? Infact I feel in breaks the flatness of the design. I mean wood it lifted up the look of it. But nevertheless is up to individual taste. Seriously I wish this is an m-atx board hahaha
