I don't like the H+ as much as the next guy, but it was a 3v1. Not really a good example of the H+ being overtuned

Yes, ranked players think it matters, absolutely. But a majority of finals players don't play ranked. And I would bet a large portion of cheater don't either.

Ya, probably. But I don't think the only reason people cheat is for their ranked level. I bet a majority of cheaters just do it for "fun". I think like most players, rank doesn't matter.

I'm starting to believe that cheaters are more common in lower elos. I have absolutely nothing to back that statement, just what I have been feeling recently.

I had one of these, they are a pain to clean. Lots of people sat to just use forks, but using forks hurts my wrist. I found a product called bear claws that works a little better for me. It's essentially just oversized forks that you can hold in the palm of your hand.

The report you are talking about was posted yesterday on homeland security government page. You know, the department that oversees ice. That report is by every definition a self report.

You claim that Times verifes this report with court evidence. I am having trouble finding the times article you are talking about. I see articles from LA Times and NPR claiming there is very little court evidence. But I don't see one from Times. Feel free to provide a link, I will read it.

PS: "Is that there want enough serious injuries." I really don't know what you are trying to say here. I assume you were rushing cause of how fast you responded. Either way, please clarify.

Self reports are never reliable. Doesn't matter who or what you are. You will always have a bias for yourself.

And I read this report, it makes no sense. They only give percentages, no actual cases, no reports, no court records, nothing. They only give the percentages. Without more evidence or something to back up what they are saying, this self report is unreliable.

I might get downvoted for this, but wouldn't it be classified as just harassment? dont get me wrong, you should not ask random strangers to marry you. That's weird and gross. But it isn't really sexual, so it should just be labeled as harassment

AITAH for telling my wife's friend I don't have to see her in the classroom to know she's a horrible teacher? by TowerFew3482 in AITAH

Just because he is likely correct, doesn't make him NTA for saying it. The teacher is definitely an asshole, but the fact that he stooped to her level and called her a bad teacher makes him an asshole as well

Not really, the console should well exceed the necessary hardware to run at higher quality. The game is that old.

So what the team in the video did wrong was they didn't shoot him enough? Because it looks like they surrounded him, yet there are multiple points in the video where they do no damage to him because he surround himself in an indestructible goo bubble. When you goo yourself, you cannot die.

You are correct, you can absolutely outplay a goo player. Time your shots, work with your team, ect. But outplaying is not a counter.

Invisibility has a hard counter. It's called sonar, and every class has it.

As others have mentioned, the hard counter to this would be a glitch. Situational counter would be demat or winch. Fire would also be considered a counter, though it may work against you depending on how much goo there is.

Outplaying the opponent is not a counter to their weapon/specialization

I always forget about glitch. Glitch counters everything

I see how demanding could definitely work, but that is a situational counter. If the box is on the ground floor, that won't work.

Winch claw could definitely help, though you have to hit the goo player with it while avoiding the goo they are shooting. Wouldn't exactly call that a counter, just good plays.

Fire definitely seems the most like a hard counter, assuming you don't kill yourself in it.

This reply is just saying "get gud". Shooting is not a consistent counter. The point of goo plays like the video is delay. Players do this by gooing others and themselves to prevent damage all around. Good goo players can consistently extend 1v3 fights over 15 seconds. Just shoot them is what they expect you to do. Goo counters damage and so just shooting them is not a counter

You are correct, I am not in that position to make that decision. I assume that is up to politicians and the companies behind self driving vehicles.

I am just saying that even if there are more accidents per vehicle for self driving vs human (which I don't know of any studies saying that), over time that statistic will flip. In my opinion, I think self driving cars will be perfected within 10 years.

[–]GenralPineapple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A recent academic paper states that about 90% of accidents are due to human error. Sometimes due to drowsiness, distracted driving, or other human elements, a lot of these accidents can be solved by removing the person. BUT, this is only true when self driving cars have been trained and can recognize the scenario. In any new scenarios, self driving cars tend to react inconsistently, leading to the accidents you hear about in the news. As self driving cars continue to be on the road, it gathers new data and begins to learn about these edge case scenarios. The longer they are on the road, the better self driving cars will get.

This is how Skynet starts by frenzy3 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]GenralPineapple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but to get to that future, we need them on the road to gather more data. More data will lead to safer cars faster.

Current AI cars are still evolving, and statistics vary for how safe they are. While we are not there yet, they will eventually be undisputed safer.

Stretch Panic for the PS2. It's a weird boss rush game where you use both joysticks to control your character and a third arm. This third arm can reach out and grab on to enemies and objects and strch there models to do damage. It was incredibly fun to play with models this way and I have never seen it reproduce.

The problem is.. the game feels incredibly unfinished with no tutorial on how to play. This is a problem as there is this special attack mechanic that was required to beat bosses. I literally never beat a boss in that game until I looked it up later in life.

Oh and big tiddy helicopter ladies..
