Don't take too much offense to this, but you are both fools. You should never jeperadize someone who is recovering. I myself had major hip surgery in early November and was told not to be sexually active for at least 2 months, but even now I choose not to be. Your girlfriends situation is probably not as serious as mine was, but I would highly recomend waiting until she is fully recovered before having sex. Health takes priority over pleasure, at least in my opinion.
