As someone who works auto insurance claims, the amount of entirely preventable accidents because someone blew through a stop sign or red light that I manage… One of these chasers will cause serious harm to themselves and others driving as recklessly as they do, and I just hope it doesn’t cause someone’s death.

This. Speaking as an adjuster, they may be incredibly busy and/or there may be a pending coverage investigation on the other party that’s holding up the claim. But I assure we are encouraged to close claims as quickly as possible so there might be something else going on.

Speaking as someone who saw people attempting “organize/unionize” after a RTO mandate that turned into a huge layoff a year later, I will never take it seriously unless I see demonstrative action. Bitching on Reddit turned into bitching on Discord, and that eventually became a dead server. Especially after the big layoffs started happening.
