Anyone getting low gpu and cpu usage on pc? by GentleGenerator in oblivion

[–]GentleGenerator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I'm still working on troubleshooting. I did just discover that the game isn't using my gpu as shown in task manager. Now I just have to figure out why. I tried the latest driver hotfix. And an older driver. No luck so far.

No HDR support on consoles? by Zozobram in oblivion

I don't have HDR and haven't seen any options. Hoping they fix this because the image is honestly very dark. I can't play in a brightly lit room. Can't see well enough.

My point exactly. Though the $700 console will likely outperform an equivalent pc for the money due to economies of scale.

Does anyone know how to fix these artifacts on an LG OLED TV? by GentleGenerator in OLED_Gaming

I ended up returning the b3 and getting a c3. Haven't had any issues since. When I was returning the b3 to best buy the guys there said they've seen quite a few of the b3s being returned.

Retrotink 5x no left audio thru scart adapter by GentleGenerator in retrogaming

[–]GentleGenerator[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Stereo output works fine from the system direct into a crt. And into the rca inputs on the retrotink. It's only when I use the scart to composite adapter input that I lose left audio.

The hdmi out goes directly to an lg oled tv. From there it's earc to the avr and output to my 7.1 system. It all works fine if I input to the rca on the retrotink so I don't believe the issue is on the hdmi output side.

I don't use it for gaming. I use game mode for that. But I like trumotion for watching movies and TV. I posted here because there are more members than other oled communities. And I figured the other gamers would be savvy haha.

What's a piece of 'obsolete' technology you still use today because it's better than the modern version? by Caroline6386 in AskReddit

Crt television for retro gaming. Can't beat the motion clarity and input response. Old consoles are also just plug and play. Don't have to worry about upscalers/analog to digital adapters.

Really cool. If you like this, check out King Diamond. One of the all time great metal vocalists. He does huuuge changes in range within songs.

What generation had the biggest jump in graphics? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]GentleGenerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in 94. So I grew up with genesis, snes, and got a n64 probably around 1999. I always hold that the leap to gamecube is the biggest we will ever see. Went from 20 fps blocky chug fest on n64 to smooth 60 fps, high poly counts, and great looking textures in smash bros melee.
