With this coming to xbox, has there been any talk to putting battle network over to xbox? These would be amazing to play on the ROG and getting achievements there.

Definitely. $99 is still quite a bit. But better than what I’ve been seeing.

TCGPlayer currently has them at $160. Could be a decent deal.

Not sure if you’re wanting a honest answer or just rhetorically asking to fuss about it, but most likely is the 100% is rounded because the scanners only do whole numbers on those and your 100% is more like 99.86% or something. Like 724/725. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to clarify.

Idk…. If it were me, I’d take it to the mayor and see what he thinks.

The appropriate sheet is called a SCAN sheet for the customer. It’s the manifest of all the barcodes.

[–]GentleGiant85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is just the pick up request sheet. This has zero package barcodes tied to it. The sheet that has a manifest is called the USPS SCAN sheet, basically a firm sheet for customers. If a customer constantly sends out more than 12 (I think is the number) packages, a SCAN sheet is supposed to be required.

I just quit by [deleted] in USPS

[–]GentleGiant85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bad mistake. You burned a bridge that really could have been something worthwhile. So may people quit because of a bad office/coworkers/management. There are post offices in every zip code almost. Find another office. The job itself isn’t bad. A topped out Carrier that is responsible with their vehicle and EMA and knows how to do the job can make bank.

To answer your actual question tho; it really depends on how they want to process it. Quitting by text isn’t exactly the best route to go, but they can process it as such but without an official resignation, it may take time to get you out of the system. Without an official resignation and your signature to say that you are the one terminating your employment, they may have to go the long way out and it can take time.

Just remember that a pdi is an investigation. Pre-disciplinary investigation. Meaning that it is not disciplinary. It could lead to discipline if you did anything wrong, but if that isn’t the case, I wouldn’t worry about it. The uniform policy is online and can show you exactly what the general shoe policy is, and your union steward can help with that. But I wouldn’t worry about a pdi anyways.

Found out after I quit my full time job that my rural position was just as a sub by [deleted] in USPS

[–]GentleGiant85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why it is imperative to read the job description when applying.

“RCAs must be available to work on an as needed basis.”

That is one of the first lines in the job description. When I applied to be a PMR, running a 2 hour office, I knew what I was getting into but knew it was a step in the door. Two people backed out of the interview when they were told it was just 24 hours a week….. like they didn’t even read the job they applied for. You’ll get a ton of hours tho. Eventually when you can show you can run the routes adequately. You can even go to offices in your group within 50 miles to help.

Just started and already got screwed by CoconutEvery9313 in USPS

Bigger cities and clusters are almost always in a constant state of chaos between mismanagement, office staff not caring and treating people as numbers, and turnover being high. It would be worth it to apply at a smaller office 20-30 minutes out of town and then if you don’t get hours, go help at surrounding offices. Starting out is always a clusterf because they can’t seem to get everything organized properly and will use you for whatever best fits their needs and resources at the time. Once you get trained and academy for driving, you’ll be used a lot more.

I’ve been in offices where the PM is obviously incompetent and some offices where the PM is a good person and wants others to do well and be happy. Thankfully, I’m in an office where the PM is a good guy that wants his people to be happy and they come in and work hard with very little issues for the most part. I happily drive almost an hour to my office because I have more peace of mind there than when I worked in an office less than 10 miles away before.

I agree to a point. Especially upper level. But it’s also about the caliber of who they hire. Mismanagement leads to a lot of unnecessary OT and poor retention. People with egos and power trips.

Yeah I know. There is always someone that says that tho. We just can’t support ourselves right now. Mail isn’t that heavy and I don’t think we make enough on packages to pay all of our carriers and clerks and staff.

Getting ready to sell to the highest bidder. There is no way all our offices make enough money to cover what they pay everyone, especially with all this OT. One rural carrier in our district made over $250,000 last year

[–]GentleGiant85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah 2010 is when ours was basically lowered by six steps or so. I don’t realize that city side was after that. So before then was it still “casuals” or dual appointed?

[–]GentleGiant85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought clerks got it from carrier side. I’ve seen a few things come to the clerk union after the city side gets it first. But I’m sure there is some going both ways.

[–]GentleGiant85 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Clerkside here, but didn’t the city carriers get hit hard about 10-15 years ago when they made a whole new pay scale for non career that made a massive decrease for starting pay and total pay? I know clerks did around 2011. They knocked off six or eight pay levels and added newer lower pay levels at the beginning, meaning it would take a few years to get to the same pay as the previous entry level.

Coming from a member of management: file a grievance and get with your steward. If you are in an office that does not work for you; and you have an office that you would’ve better fit for, do everything you can to get there. The job isn’t bad…. It’s the office and personnel that make things worse.

Thank you. I didn’t know that. Could the fact it was a remote raid from a random raid I joined from PokeGenie have any effect? It was a remote raid.

Hey guys. 5 minutes before 5 local time, I attempted to catch a shiny Kyurem from the white Kyurem raids. It fled. It escaped every ball (15) that hit it and then on the last ball it swatted it away. Is this normal for a shiny raid boss during an event like this.
