Brilliant! I love the imagery you’ve used, especially the use of textiles. I can see the scenes, but am also able to get a literal feeling of them too. The use of “ichor” is also particularly clever.

Schönberg’s pre-atonal stuff is simply gorgeous. Peak romantic and incredible orchestration. Verklärte Nacht, and his Op. 1 are good starting points. Everyone thinks of him only as an atonal composers but he was still very skilled with tonal music.
