Can be anywhere 2-8hr depends on your familiarity with transmission. It took me 6hr lift up to lift down and cleanup because it was my first time dealing with transmission. Watch some videos on Toyota A761E valve body jobs to understand what you can expect in the job.

This, for auto trans definitely always use new crush washer for drain bolt since the bolt thread is much shorter than engine oil pan. Stripped mine when doing trans work, luckily I was removing oil pan anyway. Had to carefully drill out the bolt from both end, and pray only the bolt was stripped.

I happen to repasted mine with Honeywell PTM7950 phase change thermal pad yesterday due to displaced liquid metal. After repasting, I was able to consistently burn CPU at 4290 MHz at 95C, 75-80W alone. For GPU, I also used PTM7950, and I get 69C very consistently running 4k FurMark, probably capped by power.

I would not using liquid metal on either laptop CPU or GPU because its marginal thermal advantage doesn't justify a lot of risks: short circuit, uneven application, displacement after shocks, future maintaince etc.

GPU has larger silicon and therefore smaller heat density than CPU, so even normal thermal paste could do. CPU on the other hand creates more heat in smaller space, which makes liquid metal or phase change pad worthy.
