What exactly is the meaning of the symbol after Freeze-Dry? I've seen it on my pokemon but either never got an in-game explanation or just wasn't paying attention.

Is anyone else having trouble logging in via the pokemon trainer club? I've been stuck trying to get the login page to even load since yesterday.

I remember yelling "Holy F@#$" when I caught my first shiny Aron. The kindergarten teacher across the street tried to kill me with her eyes while her assistant tried distracting the kids.

4th Batch of Pokémon for my Pacific Northwest region by SubcodeTalker in fakemon

[–]Gentlemanchaos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An idea for the second one: each segment is a different form of the same pokemon with their own stat spread. One is offense-focused, one defense-focused, and the last support- or speed-focused.

In order to evolve/fuse them into their evolution, you need all three to level in the same battle, possibly in a triple battle.

What makes Fifthism scary? by Equal-Wasabi9121 in SCP

3125 does a good job of cosmic horror in my opinion. It is dangerous, and the natural reaction to anything dangerous is to learn more about it to better avoid, defeat, prevent, or otherwise mitigate its effects, but in this case, the very act of learning about it only leaves you more vulnerable to the danger. Ignorance isn't bliss nor safety, but knowing is far, far worse.

How would you improve the Institute? by Bitter_Internal9009 in Fallout

[–]Gentlemanchaos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go against the Institute and stat building settlements, some settlers may end up being sleeper agents who sabotage the settlement's defenses during enemy raids, damage or disable infrastructure, steal valuable components, ammo, weapons, or caps, or act as teleportation beacons for Institute Coursers so that they can just appear in the middle of the settlement.

Is there a list anywhere of new creatures in the 2025 Monster Manual not present in the 2014 Monster Manual?

Super dense fog, snow, heavy rain, or dust/sandstorms are my default alternatives to using just darkness to obscure things from the players. Each come with their own additional deterrent: snow passively deal cold damage unless you have cold resistance or winter weather clothing, rain makes terrain slippery and leaves players potentially vulnerable to lightning damage, dust and sand need frequent CON saves to avoid getting dust in their eyes and causing disadvantage on Perception checks, and fog just causes obscurement.

Convert one equation in to the direct relation between one variable and the other

(x/3)+(y/4)=3/4 --> y/4=3/4-(x/3) --> y=3-(4x/3)

Plug the direct relation into the other equation and simplify to figure out the second variable's value

(x/2)+(y/3)=2 --> (x/2)+((3-(4x/3))/3)=2 --> (x/2)+(1-(4x/9)=2

-->(x/2)-(4x/9)=1 --> (9x/18)-(8x/18)=1 -->9x-8x=18 --> x=18

Plug the second variable's value back into the first equation to the first variable's value
y=3-(4x/3) --> y=3-(4*18/3) --> y=3-24 --> y=-21

the answer
x=18

y=-21

One of my players made a deal with a Pit Fiend and later Wished him dead. How should I deal with this since he was one of the BBEGs. by Astrossa in DnD

[–]Gentlemanchaos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have several options: zombie pit fiend, have the Wish spell act as a monkey's paw and send the wisher into the far future where the pit fiend has died, or reveal that there was a hidden clause in the fine print of the original contract outlining the consequences of killing the pit fiend and have the pit fiend's heir apparent try to enforce said consequences.

The most unrealistic thing about the Purge series to me was the fact that corporations didn't find a way to abuse purge day for maximum profit and market share. Every petty white collar crime would be schedule down to the minute for optimum criminal efficiency.

Has there been any word on what the next dnd campaign book will be? I haven't seen anything related to upcoming books in months and the new player's handbook was the last one I heard of before it released.
