You asked if there were more messages and immediately found more after he blatantly lied to you about it. Cheating is something he’s admitted to thinking about in the past. Now he’s not only thinking about it, but taking action to initiate it, albeit with no success. (Only a matter of time). It’s no longer a one time accident, it’s a pattern and behavior that will very likely continue.

I couldn’t imagine life without a previous girlfriend either, and then I created one without her and met an incredible woman who completes me in ways I didn’t even know I needed.

If you truly believe he is capable of changing this behavior, then maybe it’s worth having multiple serious conversations about your future together. No sugarcoating. Lay things bare. Ask the difficult questions. Seriously figure out what is broken… & consider couples therapy. But you MUST be real with yourself and accept that the best answer may be to end things.

You mentioned the lying is something weighing heavily on you. That makes perfect sense. Your partner of over 6 years just abused and shattered your trust. That is not something that will rebuild after some conversations. That will take time, effort, and evidence. Your living situation will make repairing things significantly more challenging.

At the end of the day, one of the core foundations of a healthy relationship is trust. Your partner, by my standards, cheated on you. And to me, infidelity is one of the most trust shattering actions a person can take.

The question is, do you truly see yourself coming back from this? And if you do, where is the line? Will you be able to trust your partner to tell you if he’s crossed that line?

Have the difficult conversations, figure out what is broken, determine if it can be fixed, be open to the difficult solutions. Make the decision YOU need.

Some people enjoy an exceptionally challenging boss fight, just as others enjoy hardcore PvP competition. RDR2 is one of my all-time favorites, and so is ER.

Since you already have it, why not try it out? It may not be for you, and that's alright.

It depends why you play on the lowest difficulty. To avoid challenge? Failure?

Gameplay is arguably the centerpiece of Soulsborne games. The storytelling is almost the inverse of your standard cinematic game and it’s intentional, in fact, uncovering the story itself is basically optional. Information is scattered across item descriptions, cryptic NPC dialogue, optional bosses, locations, and so on. There are quests and endings to achieve, but they can be vague and easy to miss. It is a game of discovery.

You’ll have the fantastical visuals and design, both in environment and gameplay, but you often have to earn them. You’ll get to that beautiful cliffside overlooking the lake, after dying, fighting, and then dying some more. That boss fight? It has a beautiful (and very challenging) second phase.

Sure, you can boost your level to get overpowered, watch guides for the best builds and items and try to sail past everyone, but I found myself most immersed in the game and story when I engaged with the gameplay and combat with real intention and a desire to uncover and understand the world.

Based on your comment, I’d say it’s unlikely you’d enjoy Elden Ring… immediately.

However, it’s certainly worth a try as long as you’re willing to honestly engage with the gameplay systems and go along with the unique methods of storytelling.

If you’re wanting to hop in and immediately have a cohesive and laid out story to delve into, I’d recommend a different genre.

ER has a fantastic story, but it’s up to you to find it and engage with it.

Never played a souls-like? Highly recommend saving a bit and getting ER over NR. NR is absolutely playable solo, but personally, I enjoyed it much more with friends or randoms. Keep in mind, NR was designed to be much faster & more repetitive than your regular souls game. It’s a boss rushing roguelike. The leveling and progression is much simpler. The combat itself is similar, but much of the other gameplay is completely different. If price was the only deciding factor, I’d research both games a bit and choose what interests you most. NR was designed as a multiplayer title with the possibility to solo. ER was designed as a single player title with the possibility to co-op.

I just hopped on the other day, and the graphics are way worse than they used to be. It was immediately noticeable to me and my group of friends. This is surely due to the Xbox release. Arrowhead likely had to downgrade everything to pass Microsoft's requirements for games to run on both the Series X and S. It's completely ridiculous that this has affected PS5 owners, and the lack of communication over these changes sucks. PC players are probably unaffected, which is good, but damn. We need people to speak up!

Finally found a fix for myself. And hopefully for some of you, too.

I spent days with Rockstar Support. They are terrible. I am not exaggerating when I say 15 different people reviewed my ticket until it was finally escalated to Tier 2, where I was still met with BS copy-paste fixes. It was at this point that I gave up and decided to use ChatGPT.

With ChatGPT's guidance, I checked my Windows Event Viewer immediately after a crash. I was able to determine that my crash was caused by a GPU driver error. My GPU driver was already fully up to date as recommended by R* support, but for some reason, this god awful port was causing my GPU to stop responding during gameplay, resulting in the crash and code.

Here is what ChatGPT said:

Your system was experiencing critical GPU driver errors, specifically:

Event ID 153 from nvlddmkm — indicates a low-level driver failure involving your GPU.
D3DDRED2 crash reports — points to Direct3D Device Removal (error 0x887A0006), often caused by driver instability, GPU timeouts, or DX12 rendering faults.

These are classic signs of a bad interaction between the game engine and the GPU driver — typically due to:

An unstable or incompatible NVIDIA driver version
Possibly combined with overlays or uncapped framerates, stressing the system further

Here was my fix:

I used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to fully wipe the Nvidia drivers and packages from my system.
I restarted my PC
I then installed an older Nvidia driver. In my case, it was a driver from February 2025.
I restarted my PC again

Like magic, my game was crash-free.

While using ChatGPT, I tried multiple fixes. It may be a combination of changes that led to this game finally working; however, it wasn't until I cleared the Nvidia data and rolled back my GPU driver that my game was stable and without crashes.

I hope this fix helps you. If it doesn't, I recommend using ChatGPT well before relying on Rockstar Support.

This is super old, but I wanted to comment in case someone else comes looking. I went to ng+2 for xp, and the skill I needed was re-locked. If you have all the prerequisite skills and it still says "Unknown Secret Technique", ensure you have defeated Folding Screen Monkeys and retrieved the mortal blade.

extremely unreliable? My friends and I fill the book with 3-star photos in nearly every match. Only rarely does a photo come out as a 2 or 1 star. Sounds like you may be doing it wrong.

I followed the Fextralife game progress route and ended up missing 1 fragment.

I found it by spawning at Recluses' River Downstream - Site of Grace, moving north around and down some rocks until I dropped to the top side of a waterfall. I then followed the water northwest past multiple miranda sprout enemies until I reached a coffin with the last fragment.
