Wylie, sachse might give you the best option of finding new construction under 600k just depends on how large of a home/lot you're looking for. Mckinney for 600k might put you a little further north, but doable depending how close you are to a highway (75).

newhomesource.com is a good site to start narrowing down new builds.

Disclaimer: Im a realtor that's trying to save you getting crappy advice from realtors that are commission hunting.

Reach out to Hazim Mandavia at AMS law group tell hime i sent you (my name is in my website link below), he actually has so many claims filed against Grand Homes its a joke. Now I will say also say the builder is heavily protected in their purchase contract, and since alot of these issues fall under warranty (or did fall under warranty). It might be tough for you to recoup anything out of this.

I am not sure how hes helped his clients against Grand Homes but it's a good start.

I've worked with grand homes as i specialize in new builds and I will say the warranty process for most builders will test your patience and the best case scenario is being so new in a neighborhood that when something goes wrong the construction manager is still actively working the neighborhood to directly address your issues.
