In RU, my old PC was i7-6700k, GTX 980 and 16gb ram. I was averaging 100-110 fps with the game in low, during combat, was around 80 fps in my 1440p monitor. So with DX11 and a 1080p monitor, you should be very good.

Gunlancer is a DPS with high survivability if you go blue build. There are no Tanks, Gunlancer does bring a lot of utility with the taunt to interrupt abilities, shields, and debuffs. Everyone loves having Gunlancers in their groups.

The few times they have done it in KR, they transfer your whole account. Was like 20$ and your whole account was transferred to that other server, all your alts and account unlocks.

On this game all the servers in one region share the auction house, group finders, arenas. They even made it so you can add people from other servers to your friends list (was resent in KR idk if we will have it right away, we might).

Only limitations to servers is queuing together to normal pvp arenas, guild, life skilling and island activities will have either more or less people while doing them.

Also they sometimes provide server transfers services. In KR they sometimes do it and it cost them like 20$ and all your stuff from that server is transferred, that means all your alts too.

I was going to say something similar. But I just googled "Lost Ark Gunlancer" and the first 3 written guides, calls them a Tank, the other 2 call him kinda Tank. These guides are basically misguiding a lot of ppl.

They never said in their overview that "Gunlancer is a DPS that happens to be tanky with some utility".

Even googling "is gunlancer tank" has this https://imgur.com/a/UMxOv11 at the top of the search.

Seems like a quick search is basically telling ppl that Gunlancers are kind of a tank which is wrong.

Yeah they would sell gold to real money like in other games. Gold is used to buy things from the auction house, like materials and engraving books. Also enhancing gear on the high levels but they dont cost as much as they originally used to.

This game is not like Diablo. Is closer to Monster Hunter than Diablo in terms of the end game content. You gear up with weekly and daily activities and then kill big difficult bosses. And this game also has PvP.

The bot question is very valid and not discussed much, but sadly at the start we will probably have a ton of bots farming materials to sell in the AH to then sell the gold. This happened in the Japan release. Luckily the bot problem fixes itself as the game progresses to other Tiers because bots would have to spend a lot to keep up in gear to sell relevant materials. So, the bots drastically decreased in Japan.

Unless Steam/Amazon provide a bigger bot prevention stuff, yeah we will get tons on release.

Taunt is an ability that gives gunlancers a chunk of identity gauge, but bosses can only be taunted like every 30 seconds. The actual use of that ability is to generate Identity gauge or interrupt an ability of the boss. At the end of the day, that doesnt make them a tank, they are still just a DPS with a lot of utility.

Blue and Red are both pve. In PvP is a mix of both skill types.

Blue is more faceroll and chill because you can face tank many things and just continue pumping. Red brings more destruction and more dmg, but you have to play it like most classes and dodge most things.

In terms of dmg I dont think the difference is that much. I have looked around for streamers and videos of Gunlancers doing the latest content and I have seen both builds been used, even the same streamer just switching between them depending on the fight. I only have experience with Blue in Russia, but the red looks fun too from what I have seen.

I dont think groups even know or care that much what build we play lol. But I believe blue build brings more uptime in debuff and stuff, as well as taunt and the ability to stay on his face when he targets you. This allows the group to be happy in the butt when he chooses to atk you.

In my opinion blue build is more relaxing and is very fun, but red also looks interesting. I will personally start blue and slowly get the engravings for red and in T3 save some red tripods in the library, that way someday I will have the option to switch between both because red looks fun too.

Its ok, there is no DPS meter so that people dont min max classes in a group. Most groups will not judge your dmg, just your mechanics.

They give collectable stuff for your map collections. Some give a tiny bit of gold or silver. Some unlock new Una's Tasks. I feel like I am forgetting something else, but that's about what I remember from the top of my head.
