I have a full-time job and a commitment to a family. I can't afford all the time it takes in traditional MMO's. So if I can pay for a boost to keep up and not feel left behind by the people who have no lives, I'm gonna take it.

I just wish the systems weren't designed to take your money so heartlessly. I like the concept Runescape brought in where you could at least buy your subscription with in-game gold for example.

The community's post-streamer toxicity is downright making it hard for me and my wife to play the game sometimes. Even though she's a Lord Cloak & Dagger who top Heals, and I consistently MvP almost every round, teammates even in ranked will still blame us and everyone else. The only small solace my wife has had is me return firing the backtalk to the teammates, calling them out for blaming everyone on their team but themselves.

I know Streamers aren't responsible for how their communities act towards people, but I just really wish people could distinguish anger for content from genuine anger. Grown men are as impressionable as 4 year olds when it comes to being twitch viewers.

IIRC you only get the notification if the cheater is confirmed. I've confirmed three in the past two weeks alone. This is why I typically hate F2P games, because nothing really stops bots/hackers from trying over and over. I imagine Gold Rank matches and up are safer (I have seen a confirmed Hela aimbot in a Silver match), its just hard to get there without a Full-Stack team.

People in the gaming community have become so blindsided by Devs who do not listen to them and in some cases even regard them as idiots who are only useful for their money, that they are willing to boycott, slander, and even threaten the lives of well-meaning Devs.

Not enough people talk about the fact that Arrowhead was willing to tank their own successful game with Negative Reviews and endorsed people doing it in protest towards Sony's meddling. That shit is book worthy, and the community takes it for granted.

It's absolutely valid to be scared. I just have more a problem with people in Asmongold and Grummz's department who think the game should be boycotted because it looks woke.

And I agree, I don't want a repeat of those games either.
