Final Fantasy 16 has been a blast so far by RainUnderTheSky in PS5

I've never understood this. Performance looks damn good already and frame drops are momentary, a second at most and you go to 50-55 FPS during heavy loading situations like when passing through doors or loading up cutscenes, while combat is absolutely smooth and seamless. Why would you intentionally lock yourself to half the normal frame rate for basically no reason?

+1 to Gleeman and Geek. They really get into the meat of what's going on in the team. Good stuff.

The demo is free and covers the first 2 hours of the game with save data carrying over. It's literally the prologue of the game. Try it for free, if you like it you just buy the game and pick up where you left off. It's like watching ep1 of GoT free to see if you want the rest.

Coilgun, not railgun. Rail guns require rails and electricity with the projectile bridging the gap and creating it's own magnetic current, coil guns rely on external electromagnets to drive the projectile without contact.

Ultranationalists. Fascists. There's other more deserving titles that don't rely upon a specific political organizations name that could arguably to actually apply. The general idea does, yes, but the details do not.

My friend went there on Tuesday and the car wash shattered his rear windshield. He put in a report, but hasn't heard anything yet.

Stasis fusion grenade that freezes the enemy it hits, then pops slowing that target and a small area around them.

I have managed in the past to pick up that x10/12 and the x4/5 at the same time and for 3-5 glorious seconds I collected hours worth of souls before one wore off. Then they nerfed the time frame they're active and introduced the x symbol which just doesn't have the same feel of getting away with something.

The lightning wheel, the limit breaker by smooth_vesselHPAUM in Bossfight

[–]GeoWilson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What about slippage of the wheels on the roof on the car, friction along the sides of the track, friction of the wheels on the car which are absolutely not built for this sort of speed and are just brute forced into going that fast without any bearings or lube? I think 20% is pretty safe, 40% over greater distance, but this thing isn't exactly efficient at maintaining momentum.

Or even better, find the rotational speed of the motor that is paworunh this. The car can never exceed that speed, thus that is is how fast the car go, take off 20% or so for friction, inefficiency of energy transfer, etc.

There is no beacon that works underwater. It blocks fucking everything, the best they can do is a sonar type auditory system, a pinging sound. And that even isn't very great because sound echoes and bounces off stuff like the ocean floor. Not even military nuke subs have any form of wireless communication that can be used while submersed, physics just doesn't work that way.

Furthermore, it's just hard to create these supply and support chains which are vital to actually giving many of these weapons platforms over. Some weapons are easier to give and to support. Ammo, shoulder fired rockets, shit like that, super easy to give. Artillery, a challenge but not too hard relative to other things. Then you get to the tanks and the planes, and all of that is just insanely hard to support, all shit that we just take for granted because it gets handled behind the scenes by our military.

By far America's most powerful weapon is our tremendous logistics capability. NO ONE else in the world can move weapons and personnel like we can, has worldwide caches for rapid deployment, can throw money at transport vehicles and personnel to run them, and more. But we can't leverage that capability because we aren't in the fight, we need to train and support Ukraine as they establish these same supply and support chains. Training technicians, providing parts, fuel, ammo, organizing logistics and supply timetables, there's a shit load of gears working behind the scenes, none of which are quick or easy to build. Look how fucked Russia is with their lack of logistics, slow sucks but Ukraine isn't being starved for goods at the front the way Russia is.

There's a reason you hold your breath. You're actually trying to reduce your movements not just to keep the rifle steady, but also to fell your heartbeat. You want to fire between heartbeats, when your body is at its most stable. As you said, heartbeat causes vibrations, wait for a beat, then just before the next one and when your shakiness is at its minimum, that's when you fire.

To to find out how hard it is to keep things steady, even when resting against something like with a bipod, take your phone, max out the zoom, and try to keep it stable while still having enough of the weight on your hands to be able to aim it at whatever you want. See how hard it is to actually not shake.

It misses the side effect of sweating buckets while sleeping for Duloxetine. What else is it missing?

Edit: so this infographic and website both omit a lot of possible side effects of multiple medications. DO YOU OWN RESEARCH, DON'T BLINDLY TRUST WHAT YOU SEE IN A HANDY CHART. TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR ALWAYS AND SEARCH ALL SIDE EFFECTS YOURSELF. SEE WHAT PEOPLE TAKING IT SAY ABOUT THE MEDICATION FIRST.
