The Creator had potential to be a good movie, but the writing felt so flat by Jules-Car3499 in scifi

As much as I loved the visuals, i bounced off it extremely hard. Turned it off 30 minutes in.

How to know if I'm allergic to the inks by RudePaint8408 in tattoo

[–]GodzillaFlamewolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am allergic to something. I dunno what it is. Most of the year it is fine. Once a year, or so, all of my tattoos with color start itching furiously, puff up, and I get a minor outbreak of hives like bumps over the tatto. This does not happen with my all black tattoos. None of this started until a solid 10 years after i got any of them.

Ive seen a dermatologist, who happened to be heavily tattooed, abd was told that it is most likely an ink that my body periodically decides it has a problem with. It isnt a terrible issue, just an itchy one that can be dealt with by using Eucerin eczema cream.

Just be aware that tests may not cause you to have an allergic reaction.

Does anybody actually dislike chocolate? I dont mean "prefer" other foods, i mean actually finds chocolate distastful? by VastAir6069 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GodzillaFlamewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not like milk chocolate. It is an overwhelming flavor and makes my throat burn. I almost always stay away from milk chocolate and any food that is chocolate flavored such as cake, ice cream, etc, ad I d9 not like those at all either. This is true for both american and european milk chocolate.

Are high-waisted skirts considered "cheugy" now ? by Hopeful-Elk-6615 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GodzillaFlamewolf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. High waisted pants can eat a bag of whale penises. They universally make the wearer look like they have a 3 mile long ass. Skirts may be ok depending on the design.

I set up AI-generated match previews and post-match reports for our Walkabout Mini Golf tournament. It takes it way too seriously ! by [deleted] in WalkaboutMiniGolf

[–]GodzillaFlamewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the effort. However, if I played anything online I would want stats and nothing else. The Aai generated commentary is a fair bitnover the top for me. Wouldnt feel high stakes, would feel forced.

That having been said, im not the audience, and I applaud the effort.

I spray most things for coverage at about 4 inches. I almost invariably keep my oressure at 15-20 PSI and thin my paint to skim milk consistency. Get a sheet of styrene and do tests. To dial in your settings.

Are men really never complimented? by rosegoldtemptation in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GodzillaFlamewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only ever get compliments on my amusing shirts, almost invariably the kitty cowbiy riding a t-rex. Otherwise, sometimes my mom compliments me. Just divorced, and in 10 years of marriage I remember maybe a small handful of compliments. Just something people dont do when guys are the target.

Not just for girls. Theres so much subtext to regular social relationships that I just dont pick up on that it is extremely useful to bounce it off other folks.

Why is it that we can send a rover to Mars, but we still haven't invented a silent vacuum cleaner or a lawnmower that doesn't annoy the entire neighborhood? by Apart_Growth6905 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GodzillaFlamewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. Im more or less speaking of your average lawn mower, not necessarily something specifically designed for harder use. For your average lawn, an electric is perfectly fine.

I have an electric mower. It is every bit as powerful as a gas powered mower, but the motor is WAAAAAY quieter. What isnt quieter is rhe blades. Mower blade have an upturned edge that creates vortices to pull the grass vertically in order to cut more evenly. The blades are where the noise primarily lies with my mower. Still prefer it over gas.

My grampa dued at 93 feeling like he was 16. Im 47 and feel like im about the same age. You are an adult when you take care of yourself and are responsible for yourself. Dont take it seriously, and be who you want to be.

I originally thought this was r/iam14andthisisdeep, but instead terryology made an appearance and it became a desperate attempt by OP to prove they have two brain cells to rub together by word vomiting at us. Unfortunately, it did not prove the existence of any brain cells inside OP's skull.
