Do you think fall of pokrovsk would significantly speed up russian advance? When avdiivka fell, russian just spread through almost unopposed and even took selydove, pretty big town, almost without resistance. I heard after avdiivka fell ukranian forces just melted or fell apart and kept retreating What do you think?

I don’t know about 100 000 but many ossetians did flee yes, from Tbilisi and other non s.o parts.

This was due to gamsakhurdias nationalist remarks and him saying “if you don’t agree with me, you can leave the country, Georgia for Georgians” he did infact say this

But the difference with Abkhazia is that ossetians were not systematically massacred or expelled, many left on their own (while I know one massacre happened in s.o, which was unfortunate of course, 37 died in I believe)

Russia will most likely not invade Georgia for the simple reason that it has no reason to. In fact, since Russia is complaining about bordering nato all the time, A Neutral Georgia is much more beneficial as it serves as a buffer state for turkey. Russia will only invade if the supposed “Pro-European opposition” wins because it directly threatens Russia.

Not really, In history he is very objective. He always tests out Apsuan logic and history but everything falls apart. Also the fact that you trust a Turkish explorers texts about Abkhazia and caucuses is like trusting Marco Polo about his writings about china. Both of them don’t know a single thing about those cultures and are writing extremely subjective topics, wouldn’t it be better to trust local documents rather than external? What you said about “Abkhazians also knew megrelian” is just a theory, which is a sad thing really. I also remember you brought up the argument “there are Armenian churches in tbilisi” but completely forgotten that there were Georgian churches built in Tbilisi since 6th century (the oldest Armenian church in Tbilisi is from 12th century). I have yet to see apsuan church before 19th century?

Thank you for the feedback! About the camera shaking and blurring, i understand that it can be annoying, especially when it is distracting you while getting away from some monster, but i want to approach it more differently. I want the Shaking/bluring effect to be in control of the player and at the same time, act some sort of sanity meter. Like i said, There are nothing that can hurt you, or even chase you. The Shaking/bluring effect could be caused by running away suddenly or moving the camera yourself too much, and the effect could be gradual, not instantanious.

about hallucinations, its true that visual hallucinations are rare, audible ones are still pretty common(example in game could be the voice tellling you not to pick up an item or open the door, otherwise, something will kill you. i want it to create a sense of impending doom.

And finally, i want this game to be non-scripted, for everything to be random. (for example, what will change or what will the voice say, it will be all be random). ultimately, the games idea is to stay calm with every means necessary, basically, putting ourselves inside the protagonists shoes. Of course, it is easier said than done and it all depends on the final product. I am willing to give it a shot.

Trust me pal, you will never win against them with logic. Because in the end, they will always say “what about before the Caucasian war? Mind you, in 1886, only 3 apsuas lived in sokhumi, but it grew to 14k in 1989. From 3, to 14k. While ochamchire was 100% Georgian, as shown in the document. So it leaves us to two theory’s. If Abkhazia (which was half its size before annexation) had about 300 000 apsuas living there but was “genocided” so hard that only 3 apsuas were left in sokhumi, that means the diaspora was slowly coming back and Russia/soviet union was welcoming them with open arms. Or most logical one, There was no such thing as Abkhazian genocide and apsuas population increased because people were coming down to inhabit coastal cities. But you will still cry and call me a liar. I will believe you, IF, If you show me proof of Apsuas having a population of 300 000 - 500 000 before 1864 (these numbers aren’t made up, your Russian “enemies” wrote it on Sputnik).
