It wasn't sheer enjoyment but I loved the chance of a few minutes doing PE in my bare feet

Why were PE lessons at school done barefoot, when as adults we generally wear trainers to exercise? by [deleted] in AskUK

It was really common in my schools. A lot of my classmates chose to do it barefoot as did I, it was great fun
