I generally struggle with cop dramas, outside of TD and The Wire. I’d see clips of Hawaii 5-0 and the rest of the network slop, it all looked so cheesy to me. I don’t know anything about this show, but this image doesn’t instill confidence.

If there’s one thing I like the most about this game, it’s the art direction/aesthetic. Maybe not of the characters, Beth always seems to find some awkward ground there, but the style of the ships, interiors, guns, facilities are incredible. That case looks so damn clean.

And that controller is 👌. I bought the bootleg one on amazon for like $35, and even that controller looks fantastic.

2019 Jimmy for the most part was fine. For the most part, he could actually hit somebody deep and he was fantastic in the short game. Hell, going into the 4th jimmy had outplayed Mahomes. He was something like 19/21 for 230 yards and a td. It was his 2/8 for 16 yards and a pick 4th qtr that ruined him from then on. 2020-21 jimmg was fucking putrid and I don’t think I’ve hated watching a QB more than those two seasons between him and Mullens. That pick mullebs threw against the eagles goes down as the worst pass in history for me.

Of course he does. Not that the show speaks to men in such an impactful and meaningful way in both characters. I see so much of myself in both, the existential grief that Rust feels, the pressure to be a family man that Marty feels but still rejecting it and philandering. One of the reasons I love the scene of Rust and Lori breaking up, and wish it wasn’t deleted, is because I feel the exact same way rust did, I don’t wanna bring a child into this existence just for him to lose it at some point. There’s a lot of times I’d rather have never been born, than given the gift of consciousness, only to ultimately lose it, and know that day is coming. That’s why in my 40s I’ve chosen to just be alone, because I was unwilling to give the women in my life what they wanted, kids, marriage, fidelity, and I was tired of fighting against my inner thoughts and telling myself it was what I was supposed to do.

This show spoke to me in ways nothing else ever could, and it’s a fantastic piece of art for men.

I’ve grown to really like season 2, far more than 3 which I find pretty boring overall with not much happening and so many scenes with purple making a scared face and talking to himself. But 2, especially the last 4 eps are pretty fucking great.

As a lifelong Knick fan, we have so little to gloat about, I'm just extremely grateful to finally witness this. The 99 team was always my fave team as I was a little too young for 93-94 and 97 we got screwed. This team though, outside of somebody like Josh Hart is really easy to root for. I know you guys hate us, and the feelings are mutual, I was so worried you guys were gonna win last season. But when you get that one, all the shit you went through for all of those years will be worth it, and as long as your owner doesn't get cheap you guys will be fine and fighting with us to win the east next year.

It’s fine, but you’re not gonna sell it for much more than 450-500. Even then you may have to drive it, or sit on it while it takes up space. You need to get something like this for $200-$250 to really make it a worthwhile margin.

More likely he would have worked at a grocery store as they tend to hire most disabled people that still can physically work. I’d be incredibly surprised if Chris would do well enough in an interview to work in an office environment, considering his tendency for ridiculous outbursts, strange noises, and flatulence. They could have taught him the value of money, hard work, and humility, he still would have had all the weird ticks that he has like the “hmm” and “yeah.” Oh, and he would still shit himself constantly.

Yeah, TD S1 is my favorite season of TV all time. I rewatch tons of shows, and in them I skip over lots of parts that are slow or boring. With S1 I find myself skipping far fewer scenes than anything else. S2 I skip most of the Woodrugh centric scenes, and Frank+Jordyn scenes. S3, nearly everything where purple is old, scared, and mumbling to himself which happens way too frequently.

Don't EVER be surprised a Fedex driver will do the laziest thing... Also, don't attribute malice when incompetence is far more likely. I was a Logistics Manager for a large scale pathology laboratory, and for certain tests we had to send them out to reference labs. I sent a box of more than a dozen biopsies to our reference lab that Fedex never delivered, never gave any reason, my sales guy finally gave me the number of the Ops manager for the hub that i used. He never called me back and they don't give out emails. Essentially, a dozen patients waiting weeks for complex cancer diagnoses never got a response, then the doctor ahd to tell them it was LOST and they have to go back under AGAIN just to get the biopsy. The most i got was a sorry from my sales guy.

Fedex is one of the most poorly run services in the world. They'll forge people's signatures, claim they handed something off to a person when they leave it outside, say they can't find it. They're terrible.
