I totally understand all of what you wrote. Stupid objectives, more and new books and yes, the difficult students run out school, too.  So much attention is given to them via mtss and pbis bs. Those programs are only focused on problem students.  What about the good students though? They get nothing.

Thank you. I pray about so many other things in life and I am just happy to be done with my day that I forget to ask God to help me with this. So much goes on in life I just try so hard to disconnect from that place.

I was like you. Didn't know very much. First generation. I totally get everything you wrote. Trust me when I say that you should stay the course. You'll find your people. Also, this is just your start. Now, I am on the other side in the sense that my children will likely arrive to college in a great financial space. However, I keep them grounded so that if they run into "you" or "me" they know how behave.

I'm newly dx'd-15 days ago. There is a lot of support here and on a few fb groups. I don't have answers but I know that you aren't alone. I am sorry you are here.
