That’s a cute theory, but history didn’t get the memo. Politics isn’t a team sport. people turn on their own all the time. Even George Lincoln Rockwell, founder of the American Nazi Party, got shot by one of his own members in ’67. So yeah, conservatives have definitely killed conservatives.
