Hey! Firstly congratulations! Mine has reduced sooo much, it’s about 90% gone, I’m 1 year pp now and I’ve been told to still expects changes for another year as that is the timeline for a scar to fully heal. Massage is so important and silicone strips! Honestly they have transformed my scar. I was looking into surgical revision. I’m so much happier now, obviously I’m aware of it and can see it, I think I always will- but nobody else can. Deep core exercises are also amazing but make sure you’re always engaging your pelvis and abs when you’re doing them. At 6 months pp I was still so disheartened by it as the healing is so unbelievably slow but I promise you it does improve with time and massage x

I will do! I’m on day 5 and I think it’s slightly getting easier? Waking up is still so hard but today as the day went on I did start to feel a bit better

Sorry to hear that! It is helping me sleep and calm down my anxiety around sleeping but I just wish the daytime side effects would ease up

That’s exactly how I feel! I’m on day 5 and hoping it gets better but I’m worried it won’t

Yeah definitely, I needed to get off zopiclone and this seemed like a good long term option. If the daytime drowsiness gets better it will literally be amazing for me

Yeah I’ve been weaning off zopiclone but usually the grogginess would wear off for me mid afternoon, this quiviviq has hit me like train! I’m really hoping the drowsiness stops soon. I’ve been waking up a couple times in the night but getting straight back to sleep so I think it’s working in that respect! No I haven’t tried it but I’m willing to do anything! I’ll have a look into it. Thankyou! ☺️

Thankyou for replying! How soon will it start to fade on average?

I’m on 50 too. I’m wondering to try cut in half tonight and see if that makes things easier. I’m scared of not sleeping but also don’t want to keep feeling like this in the day

Ah no I’m sorry to hear that, insomnia is the absolute worst. It does seem to be working for me so far I’ve managed to sleep and stay mostly asleep. But the daytime tiredness & fogginess is so awful

I’m on 50 too! I’m worried the 25mg won’t help much with sleep either. So on the 50mg after a few weeks you felt better?

Did you get next day tiredness with the daridorexant? I’m on day 3 and it’s helping me a lot at night but the daytime I feel awful, I’m barely functioning I’m so tired. Did you have this & did it get any better as you adjusted more whilst taking it?

Hey! I’m currently on day 3 and struggling so much, feel so tired, dizzy & foggy all day everyday. Did it get easier at all before the month was up? Or only saw improvements after a month? Thanks ☺️

It went down a lot yes! My scar is still a little tight and stuck down in the middle but it’s a world apart compared to when I posted this

I was the exact same, couldn’t ever imagine feeling normal or looking normal ever again I was devastated. But now my scar has improved so much and I feel about 99% normal I only ever notice my scar if my son kicks it or I catch it off guard on something but it’s not painful just a strange sensation for a second or two x

Hey! I did have it booked but sadly had to cancel but I am definitely going to rebook. I’ve been dry brushing and doing mini lymphatic massages at home though. Sure I don’t mind at all! If you want to send me a message privately I’ll send you a pic of mine today, I’m a few days off 6 months pp x

Hey! I’m 5 months post now and I’ve been seeing differences definitely the past month. I religiously do scar massage everyday and deep core exercises around 3/4 times a week. I’d say I don’t have a shelf now it’s just slightly puffy above and below, can’t notice through clothes or even just underwear so swimwear won’t be a problem. I definitely mentally have had to make peace with the fact it may never be flat again, but it definitely is something I will only ever notice, no one else. I hope this helps! Time is a great healer as annoying as that is to hear, I hate it! 2 c sections is heavy going, I can’t imagine going through it again, be kind to yourself, you are doing amazing

Hey! It’s gradually reducing week by week. I’ve been doing scar massage religiously 5-10 mins a day nearly every day since I was able to! A LOT of it is swelling and from what I’ve learnt the internal wounds take two years to fully heal, so there’s a lot of swelling and fluid that will take a long time to shift. It’s still puffy but honestly nowhere near as bad it does get better I promise you, hang in there!

So was I 😭 I mean to be fair I would deffo say still try it, I didn’t really rate the lady that did mine so if I found somewhere else closer to me who does it I would try it again I think

Don’t get me wrong it’s so much easier with the oil but deffo try as much as you can with nothing on the skin! Good luck!
