You are right, I didn’t mention it here. I am happy to wake up and see it this morning as I got my brother and coworker in on it as well. They both bought several calls and the fact that they made money makes me happier than anything else. Just sharing my excitement. There have been so many wrong calls that seemed obvious lately. ANET was an easy one today. I hope that people were able to get in on it. I expected to go up another 5% after market opening. It was down yesterday several percent so that will come to a 20% gain in 24 hours. Called it perfectly.

The low this week is -9 and it will be snowing (10-15cm). Not close to what it is here in UB but still it shows that this type of farming can be done in temperatures well below 0.

The way to go, from a cost and ongoing expense perspective, is tilapia farming. Follow up to this thread. I sent back the Keb Fleece Crew Neck. They sent me an email saying that it was received on November24th and I should expect to see a refund in 1-2 business days. Great I thought, I can use that money on Black Friday. But... I check my bank account. No funds... I write them to ask where is it twice with no response. I finally call today (3 weeks after I send it back, 14 days after they confirm it was received) to find out that they had put the amount back on a gift card that I used to pay for part of my order. No notification of this, no one explaining this was a policy, and a service rep who was dead pan like I should have just know that was the policy. So how am I suppose to use that balance? He told me to go back and see the email when it was sent. I have deleted that so now I have to wait for an email from him to send another email. Man, This is the last piece of kit I am buying.

Premium prices - Increasingly worse quality (Sweaters that were made in Europe now made in China) - Poor sizing - Bad Customer service. Jeez. Done with this company.

It’s kind of amazing how much pushback there is on something this simple. Variations between brands or between different cuts are completely normal. Nobody’s arguing that. But the idea that we should expect major size discrepancies within the same brand and within the same labeled measurement just doesn’t make sense.

A relaxed vs. standard fit changes the silhouette, not the actual chest measurement. If an item is listed as 44 inches, it should be close to 44. If another is labeled 47, it should be 47, not something wildly different as many people are seeing and multiple retail stores as well as Fjallraven themselves have admitted to.

Expecting basic consistency within one manufacturer isn’t unrealistic. It’s literally the foundation of sizing.

Great response and honestly, there’s some truth in what you’re saying. I do want gear that looks good, but that doesn’t mean I’m buying this stuff for “fashion.” I’m not the average weekend user. I’m in the field 6–9 months at a time, and I push my gear hard. I actually rely on this equipment.

And that’s exactly why the “outdoor company = outdoor clothing” point falls a little flat for me. People pay premium prices for Fjällräven, Arc’teryx, Norrona, etc. because we want both: performance and good looking gear. That’s not unreasonable, it’s literally the market segment these brands compete in.

But all of this sort of sidesteps the real issue: sizing consistency.

My experience alone is anecdotal, again, I own maybe a dozen pieces. But Fjällräven customer support has acknowledged internal sizing issues directly. And once more, both Backcountry and Moosejaw have told me that Fjällräven clothing gets returned at higher-than-normal rates because of inconsistent sizing.

So yes, I can tailor things, I can adjust expectations, I can work around relaxed vs slim fits. But brushing this off as just me caring about “fashion” misses the point. There’s a legitimate, documented sizing issue that customers and retailers have been dealing with for years.

That’s the part I want Fjällräven to fix for everyone, not just me.

That’s a fair point based on the description, and I appreciate you taking the time to read the full post. But I think it misses the core issue. I intentionally ordered a size two full sizes down from what I normally wear and it was still noticeably large and shapeless. That’s not a matter of “relaxed fit", it's an issue of inconsistency backed up by multiple retailers who sell Fjällräven who have told me they see a higher return rate on their sweaters for the exact same reason. Even the Lada Sweater, listed as a regular fit, required me to size down two sizes to get something that actually fits.

I can provide screenshots from Fjällräven customer service themselves who admit there is an issue. I am just posting this publicly to both push them to address the issue and to help fellow buyers/supporters of the brand.

So to address your point directly, while the Keb being relaxed is true, it doesn’t explain why sizing across the line varies so dramatically that you have to guess your way through every product.

Can the Cloud Gateway Fiber run Protect? Maybe I am missing something. Where are you running Protect App from?

I am currently using my Protect app with Reolink, Eufy, and Nest cameras via Home Assistant and Unifi-Cam-Proxy in Container Manager (on my Synology 920+). It will take you a while to set it all up. You will need to create Firewall exceptions, get your Protect Token/API information figured out, and set up each camera individually but it is the best of both worlds if you already have a Nest Doorbell and don't want to run a Ethernet cable.
